I usually bring a veg tray or creative / healthy salad. I have changed from ranch dip to humus, and lettuce base to like a tom/cucumber or quinoa though. Now I get raves even when sitting next to the nacho bar!

1200 calories worked great for me. Exactly as MFP calculated my results would be. I worked out 4-5 days a week and ate back the calories when I was hungry and 1200 when I wasn't. Wasn't a big deal. I ate fruits and vegetables with every meal and took a calcium chew, fish oil and multi vitamin everyday. Easy Peasy

I quit 4 years ago in May and switched to carrots for the summer. Sweet, cool, filling, and smell a whole lot better. I actually lost 12 pounds. So be different and do some activity instead of smoking with that nervous energy. Don't accept what others experience as inevitable. You choose.

A month to lose first 6lbs. Two months to lose a total of 9 and meet goal. However, I am now upping my goal to total loss of 13 lbs as I still have a little gut and backfat. I hate backfat! However, I do like typing backfat/backfat/backfat - very liberating!

I do a circuit weight / cardio 30 min boot camp MWF normally a yoga/aerobic/resistance band DVD 57 minutes T TH SAT and sun off. I try to mix it up with hot yoga, Elliptical, or some type of really physical project every chance I get to not get in a rut.
