Me 13 The binge 1
-
[/quote] My binges, on the other hand, all have one thing in common. When I binge, I ALWAYS have the same thought (chant?) running through my head: "what can I eat next?" I have a snack and then another and another and another and... You get the idea. Before I'm even through eating the first snack I'm already thinking…

My binge is consuming a stupid amount of calories in a short space of time (to me over 1000 in around 1/2 hr) usually with food of negligible nutritional value and that I can't really remember tasting or enjoying very much. It's just like a food monster takes over and I have to eat even though I'm not hungry!!

I'm new too but here goes, from the beginning of April .... Nikki 2 Binge 1

Hi I've just joined this group, really need to stop sabotaging my efforts. At least once or twice a week I binge. Not because I'm hungry. I don't know why. Today was not good. I had breakfast, a mid morning snack, my lunch at 1.30 and was well on track for a good day I even prepped tea before work. Then I came home from…

I'm a newbie but i'm aiming for 50 miles this month :-)

Incredibally inspirational! I turned 40 yesterday and funnily enough decided to re evaluate my life. I am now setting myself small goals, the most important one is abstaining from alcohol! I drink far too much and it makes me ill! I'm going to do it initially for a month and take it from there. I read your posts every day…

If I know I'm "socialising" over the weekend I try & save some calories during the week so I can have a Few drinks or a dessert at the weekend. I look at my weekly calories. It seems to be working for me, but I guess everyone's different :-)

Firstly I am by no means a health expert or medical professional, I can only go off my own experiences. I have previously lost around 5stone with ww before I started on here I only have around another 12lb to go. Mfp gave me 1200kc a day for me this was too low. I do very little excercise due to illness other than walking…

Same here, I use it as a sleep aid and for stress. I would advise people to really research it though before taking it, it can have a lot of side effects and certainly isn't for everyone. I'm fine with it on a low dose but my mum and friend both had horrible experiences with it.

I  this :flowerforyou: I am resigned to the fact that I will never weigh less than my husband, he is a farmer and is on his feet for at least 14hrs a day. I physically cannot compete with that, I simply do not try. even at my heaviest (around 200lbs) he never made me feel bad, he always made me feel beautiful.…

Hey I feel the same as you although I have lapsed with the alcohol at the weekends, I'm also trying to get my head around exercising regularly. I notice you want to lose a similar amount to me, I've lost 1/2lb since new year :-( have added you in the hope we can help each other x

They're my favourite too, you can also get raspberry flavoured dark ones which are my ultimate favourite but for some reason can only find them at Xmas :-)
-
Same, I probably won't exercise either, I don't go mad but if I want a couple of vodka tonics or a piece of cake I will :-)
-
I agree with this, and probably not a lot will make you feel better right now but there's a lot of great advice on here. If my 9 year relationship hadn't ended when it did (as devastated as I was at the time) I wouldn't have met my husband and have had my 2 beautiful boys. Take time to grieve but try not to push that self…

Weekends are my downfall too, after starting with good intentions & no alcohol until 6pm last night my husband fancied going out for "just a few".........5 pints of strong lager later............ I am now so mad at myself, have spent all day laid on the sofa trying not to pig out on crisps & chocolate because I am hungover…
