G'day, and well done on losing the 9.5kg (21lbs), so far, but please don't be discouraged, stick at it and you will succeed. You asked for a disappearing double chin pic, I am not sure if I can help you here, but below are my before and after photos. In the before photo (where I am wearing the black jacket and blue shirt),…

The only negative aspects about losing weight (I have lost over 20kg or 45lbs), is that I find that I feel the cold much more, and I am always feeling hungry. For example I was outside on a clear autumn night in May and it was 12 celcius (approx 50F), but because I don't have much fat left on me, it felt like freezing or…

Well done on your weight loss, and yes the hard part is not fall off the wagon. You sometimes heard of stories of where people lose a lot of weight, only to regain it and some.

When I first started to lose weight, I noticed that the fat from my face, or "double chin", would the be the first place the fat would disappear from. Then the fat from my hips, and even my arms, the last place and the most stubborn fat is the lower stomach.

Thank you for your kind words, along my weight loss journey, I sometimes would hit the dreaded plateaus, but I worked out the best way to overcome these was to train harder, or shock the body with something different and more challenging. The best way to blast off the kilos was with High Intensity Interval Training or HIIT.

Great effort, inspirational stuff.

I got it now, sorry for the confusion.

It's sad that this young man has regained much of the weight he had intially lost, and I hope he can lose the weight again, but this time keep it off. I guess that's the challenge people face when they are successful in losing weight. ie. maintaining their healthy eating patterns and constant exercise.

I realise this has probably been suggested to you before, but you have tried HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)?
-
I went to the gym today, and did 100 leg curls with a 8kg ball between my feet to work my abs, plus 3 x 2minute planks once again to wokr the abs. Then 110 push ups, ie.3 x30, then 1 x20. I finished off by doing 20 minutes of HIIT training, running 5.01km, at average speed of 15.3km/h, burning about 450 calories.

Have you tried High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)?

G'day crusermax, back in Oct 2010, I too used to weigh 210lbs (95kg), and I am also 5'7 tall. However, through sheer hardwork and discipline I lost over 45lbs (20kg), and now I weigh 165lbs (75kg), Along your weight loss journey you will hit plateaus, don't worry I had encountered them as well, but they are easy to…
