Yes I'm sure that is the case as well. No matter what I keep thinking my portions are smaller but I am never quite sure. Thank you everyone for the great advice, keep it coming, I'm taking notes on it all (I'm a research type so this is great for me.)

well the only thing that has worked very well for me in the past has always been walking but with it being so freaking hot outside here (I live in the south) it's hard to find a good time that isn't too hot. I have an elliptical machine as well.

Thank you. I think I have it that MFP is lose 1 pound a week. I will change it to 0.5 a week to see if that is more realistic for my calories. Even though I hate it, I was also thinking of starting to add running into my exercises as well.

THanks! I'll look at those real quick. But that's strange that it seems these ingredients are rare to use. I saw a few like this that added milk and ice and others that tried to make the ice cream waaay too healthy. Some also used frozen fruit in place of ice.

I was only making enough for two servings, those quantities look like something for way more people. Also I used whole milk, not low-fat milk. Can't stand low-fat milk. But even with those ingredients is that using a blender or an ice cream maker?

hmm I didn't think about half & half. I just didn't want to use cream since I've never used it and with my luck I would have bought the wrong kind anyway. I'll try that next time. Also loving that I just found a fellow cat profile pic. ^_^

Many of the recipes online just use a blender, no special ice cream maker. I just need to get it to that smooth part so that it's not kinda like ice milk and it doesn't melt so fast. I mean ice cream melts fast but this just melted way too fast.

it was a part of the ninja blender recipe book. It has a whole bunch and one was ice cream. I thought it would be great to try it and know exactly was in the ice cream, plus I could make it whenever I wanted. ^_^

Pretty much all of the recipes I looked at online stated not to open the container while it is freezing. It was in the freezer since Tuesday and I just tried it today so it definitely had enough time. All of the other recipes would have extra was adding fruit to make it "more healthy" but other than that I was all.

I am trying this right now. I did count every calorie but I learned that I was chasing the number and wasn't aware of what I ate, just how many calories. yeah I should have said anything under is a deficit based on exercising. My calorie goal is already my BMR, since MFP likes to just start you at 1200 calories it seems. I figured if I did that calorie goal for my day then on days I did not exercise I would at least be in the maintain state. But thanks on the circuit…

With this equation here: Women: BMR = 655 + ( 4.35 x weight in pounds ) + ( 4.7 x height in inches ) - ( 4.7 x age in years ) And that should tell me how many calories minimum i need to just survive if I did nothing, and then anything under that would be the deficit?…

I just looked through amazon with heart rate monitors and yeah I'm even more confused with what is what. One is a heart rate monitor, another is activity monitor and another is a fitness monitor. I have no idea what a TDEE method is. And I have no idea what or where to get a heart rate monitor. I'm not a big fitness person, i just exercise at home when I can. Other times, if I'm at work, I walk around the building during my breaks so I'm just trying to be healthier.

I was able to find pants my size but not my height. Seems stores think women can't be tall. But at least I could find my current size. ^_^

Yes however this isn't an elliptical that was in a gym, it's just one I bought at walmart a couple of years ago and I'm getting back on it. And the screen is battery powered, not electric so that's why I'm not sure which I should trust.

I really don't think there is anything we can do to actually help, you have to find out why you feel like that picture you posted. But I fear that if you don't get help soon you are going to do more harm to yourself than good later on in your life. I would hate to see you become bulimic.
