Putting it in a bowel makes it way easier to mix then the small jar. I found mixing the oil in the jar is messy and hard.

Vitamix. Going on 9 years. Will replace if it dies but I'm sure it won't and I have pushed it to the max making both healthy treats and a few too many margaritas...lol. I did see a demo on the blendtec seemed nice too. I have the grain container as well. Used it several times to make wheat flour from wheat berries. Yummy…

I bet these would be great with some turkey sausage gravy made with skim milk. Sounds like a nice weekend treat!

I'm trying the oatmeal banana ones that was just posted. I just took them out of the oven. Look wonderful. I did cook for 20 minutes on a stone.

They are in the oven. I calculated them to be about 30 cal based on 12 cookies. Two bananas 200 plus 1 cup quick oats 150.

You can also make your own peanut butter. I have a vita mix and have ground the peanuts myself. I had very good results. I am not sure all blenders can do this like a vita mix.

I love natural peanut butter. When I get a new jar I dump it in a clean bowel and mix the oil in. Then put it all back in the jar and store in the fridge. Works great. I also will sometimes take 1 tablespoon honey and add a half tablespoon peanut butter to make a topping for banana pancakes.

Avocados are considered a super food. Eat about 1/3 2 to 3 times a week. A half contains 145 calories, 2 grams protein, 13 grams fat and 6 grams of fiber. They are rich in magnesium and potassium. Can be good for lowering LDL, prevention of migraines, and reducing type 2 diabetes. Like other good fats, moderation is key.

I've also agree with the vita mix. Have had it almost 9 years! Expensive but well worth the investment. Will replace if it ever dies but I expect at least another 9 years....

Body for life and body for life for women. They also have a cookbook Eating for Life. As a retired black belt, personal trainer they were the best I ever read.

They sound really good! I am for sure going to try. I'm always looking for something to do with those ripe bananas that didn't get eaten. Thanks
