I have mine set to 30% carbs 30% protein and 40% fat. I like lower carb because the less bread, pasta, and sweets I eat, the less I crave it. 30% protein for me right now is right around 1g per pound of lean body mass, which is what is recommended quite a bit. I fill the rest in with fat. I've been eating like this for…

Wow! Congrats! What an amazing accomplishment!

I'm 5'6-5'7 ish and I'm a small frame. I'm 160 now and I'd like to be around 20% body fat, whatever weight that is...

I don't do dairy or grains... Lactose intolerant and carb-aholic. I usually follow the paleo diet (no grains, dairy, soy, legumes, sugar..). Nice to meet you. I'll add you!

Welcome!
-
Hi. I'll add you.
-
Hi Angela! I'm an ER nurse... Not the same but I can understand what you are going through.
-
Hi jojo! You've already taken a huge step... Welcome!
-
Nice to "meet" you.

That helps. Thanks!

That's a good one!!

These are great. Congratulations on meeting your first goal!

Take the Fitbit off during that time.

I work 12-13 hour shifts also, sometimes days and sometimes nights. I set up my diary in a 24hr time format instead of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack format. For example: 0001-1200 (12:01am-12:00pm) 1201-1500 (12:01pm-3:00pm) 1501-2000 (3:01pm-8:00pm) 2001-2359 (8:01pm-11:59pm)

This made me literally laugh out loud! I know there's more to your question than the subject of the tread. :) Whatever you decide, just don't wear both. That just adds to the confusion! Wear your new one. Stop comparing the two, and see where you are in a couple of weeks.

I'll be your friend! It is easier to stay motivated with friends. :)

Yes.. This. Also if you are taking a multivitamin with iron or a stand alone iron supplement, that can cause constipation as well.

I am about the same. I'm currently 160 and my goal is around 130, but I try not to pay too much attention to the scale and go by how my clothes fit. I'm around 5'6.5" I'm not a runner and I love strength training, but I'm sure we can be friends and motivate each other!

I work 12 hour shifts as an ER nurse. Sometimes I work 7a-7p, sometimes 7p-7a, sometimes 11a-11p. Sometimes it's 3 days a week, sometimes none. This definitely throws me off. Feel free to add me!

The same thing happened to me. I have an amazing home gym. I used to be in the best shape. Then I went back to school for 3 years and stopped completely. It's amazing how one can go from working out so much to not doing anything at all. I gained a lot of weight. I came back here for motivation. I find that keeping active…

Welcome!

^yes! If you are not using a food scale, start!

800 calories a day is not enough. No wonder you are binging! Stop. Breathe. Tomorrow is a new day. If nothing else, follow MFP guidelines for calorie intake, eat back you exercise calories, and be real. Forget about Christmas binging. Get on track with a healthy diet and sensible caloric intake.

I didn't read the previous comments, but you be who you want to be. Be strong, be healthy, be you. Screw anyone who tells you otherwise.

Yes, don't forget to account for the going down part. So 5 minutes of up and 5 minutes of down. :)
