I'm on my feet walking 12 hours 3 shifts a week. I'm an ER nurse rarely sit in a busy emergency depart. I wear a pedometer it counts my steps and calories burned. I average between 6-8 miles a day.

I quit thanksgiving 2012 did it differently lost 40lbs then quit smoking I did gain 7 back having a hard time losing it I quit because I wanted to bike again and of course for my health. Purchase a odometer for your a snap to instal. Bell makes a nice one for $25. Gives ave speed miles and only time pedaling.

It sounds like you need more fluids and poss. Calcium. Low calcium can also cause leg cramps.
