Agreed with the ON (Optimum Nutrition) gold standard whey...I have both the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor and the Double Rich Chocolate...both are good with or without fruit. I typically mix a scoop of mine with 1 or 2 cups of almond/cashew milk...or 1 cup almond/cashew milk and 1 cup water in a shaker bottle. Good luck!!

I make one that many of my friends are in LOVE with: 3/4 c unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk or skim milk) 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or choc - I prefer the choc) 1/2 banana 3 cups baby spinach 1-2 Tbsp peanut butter (if using creamy pb, i use 1 Tbsp)...or I will use PB2 (powdered pb) - less cals, fat, etc 2…

Yes for sure start strength training...I workout with a friend 3x/wk and lift heavy...and I love every bit of it. I am still the same weight...but I have dropped body fat...and that is what i ultimately want. Good luck! :)

Try adding some cottage cheese to your diet...this is one thing I have been eating as a snack...maybe u already do that. Plain greek yogurt with berries are my other snack to get a good bit of protein. I have the same issue...too many carbs....so I am trying to figure out how to cut that back too. QUEST bars are great…
