• That song "I Ran" from Flock of Seagulls came on this morning right before I pulled into the parking lot at work. I turned it up as loud as it would go and was singing along when I pulled in... and yes, the windows were open. I had a a couple of people staring at me funny...
• "I can answer for the next poster NO!!! I have white white white skin I can do Quality assurance for Porcelin and I still have some love handles :(" LOL!!! Don't sell yourself short, PJ! Porcelain skin is all the rage these days.... just look at the popularity of the sensitive vampires. I wouldn't look, but sure - go for…
• I'd offer him a lawn chair and a beer... at least he could be a comfy creeper...
• You need to, sorry to use such an over abused phrase, "just do it." I finally settled in to the best time for me: 5am. I was originally working out around 8pm, after my kids went to bed. But I found that I really had to dig deep to find the motivation to complete my workout, be it cardio or lifting. So I tried doing it…
• Nah, rows are not hard to learn. Think of it as doing a bench press in reverse. So you basically bend 90 degrees at the waist, with the bar on the ground, grip the bar and pull to your chest then lower the weight. Rinse, repeat. It is kind of awkward the first few times, but once you realize it's only a backwards bench it…
• Awesome. Thank you both. I'm looking forward to it now!
• Cool. Thanks for the honest response. I did this crazy 27 week program earlier in the year and saw some good gains. I've been looking for something that wasn't as long OR intense - in a complex way. I was doing heavy sets for 1 rep followed by lighter at 8 then heavier for 5 reps... it was hard to follow.
• It will matter if you don't do a known distance using one method or the other. Your stride distances are going to vary between a normal walk, fast walk, slow jog and all out run. The sensor - both the one that fits in your shoe and even your smart phone - are basing distance on this "stride length." The shoe sensor will…
• Just sent out a few more invites. Thanks for all the adds... it was funny to see how far I dropped down the list the other day after a few of you accepted... but I'm coming back!!! Just kidding it's all in fun The competition motivates the hell out of me to do better and to do more, so thank you! But hey - has anyone done…
•
What about big and real? You forgot about those..hahaha.
Oh no... did not forget about big and REAL. Those are my favorite kind. In this world we have *kitten* men, leg men, feet men, eye men, mouth men, boob men... just about every body part a woman has - some man has a fetish towards it. For me, boob…
• I'll add you. I had to reset my account not too long ago because the app wouldn't load... turns out I just had to delete the last run I did, so now I know if it happens again. Anyway, my profile: http://nikeplus.nike.com/plus/profile/AMMJR71/ feel free to add me AMMJR71 I've sent out requests to a bunch of people... THANK…
• I STRONGLY second the Lunarglides. I have a pair and have close to 500 miles on them right now - still going strong. I use the Nike+ running app if you're wondering how I know that fact. Anyway, very light, very comfortable and durable. But like others have said, you really need to try on a bunch and see what you like.…
