  • The hard part for me is usually getting started.
  • I create a food in my diary. So if I make the same salad everytime, all I have to do is go to "my meal" and it pulls in the entire thing and changes are easy.
  • Still looking for my twin CW 201 GW: 148 H: 5"4 and a half (yes the half matters:)
  • Check on other goals besides calories. How is your, iorn, calcium, patassium, vit C, A, etc.? You may not be getting enough essentials. If those numbers are low, even if your not hungry, you should eat.
  • Even on ellipticals and treadmills with HRM, it always says the elliptical burns way more calories for me.
  • CBS this morning did a segment on sleeping about a month ago. It basicly said anything over 9 could make you more tired.
  • Oh girl, I know how you feel!!! I started the couch to 5 k plan and would stop anytime a car would pass. I'm terrified of gyms so I though running would get me out of my "safe zone" but still be a workout. Once I started doing run/walk intervals, it was a satisfaction thing. I didn't care if a car passed by because I was…
  • I have the knowledge but if you are like me.... it is a life long struggle!! My advise make it a lifestyle change about being healthy because most diets are not sustainable.
  • Not at all! Having others to work out makes it go by faster and it is much more entertaining. I have a friend I walk with, one I run with, and one I do dance classes with. It really helps esp. in the dance class to go with a buddy and eventually you will make more in the class so you don't feel alone when you go. Alas...…
  • Being ingured SUCKS plain and simple. This however DOES NOT have to stop your progress. Especially if you are only out two week. Your body will be in almost the same place in two week. I can't stress enough to take it slow when you get bact to it. You don't want to cause an even worse injury. Work through it because you…
  • I hope it is atleast half as akward for those people as it is the one that is not in fact pregnant!!
  • You must really be working hard. Congrats on your results. Keep it up till you reach your goal you obviously have the motivation!
  • Yay! Congrats. I also love that you walk to work!
  • When I'm really in a hurry, I stick 2 blueberry eggo waffles (190 cal) in toaster and head out the door. I usually grab a fruit on the way out the door as well. Kashi has blueberry that are less cal with more fiber but don't quite taste as good but maybe worth trying.

  • AGREE!!!
  • I turn 30 July 6th and I am also trying to get healthy before the big 30. I have lost 16 but gained back 6 after a stressful semester at school but I'm on summer break and charged and ready to get started!
  • Yeah I guess I just needed to hear that. I will def. try peanut butter or some juice even if it is late b4 I remember to eat. Me forgetting to eat... lol soooo foreign to me.Thanks all!!!
  • lol I only get 1200 in a day. I have been under 800 cal two days this week and only ate about 700 cal tonight.
  • I really think is is a little bit of both. If you feel better you are more confident and therefore people do talk to you more but lets face it beutiful people have it easier in a social setting. Had a girl tell me once she wished she wasn't as pretty as she is b/c people won't leave her alone... and knowing her as I do she…
  • Coke works for cleaning bc it is acidic. It is acidic bc when carbon dioxide mixes with water it ionizes which turns into carbonic acid. It is however no more acidic than a lemon or orange.
  • I was always hot natured until I lost 85 pounds. Its been about 7 years and although I have gained some back I am still cold unless its 76-78 degrees. There are some health issues like low iorn that maybe to blam as well. Make sure you are getting all your nutrience in but if so.. totally normal.
  • I've been stuck for 4 weeks so i can only start to feel your pain, but I think its bc I have trouble saying no on the weekends;-). I have heard when you stall though, if its not that you are eating to many cal, maybe you have slowed your metabolism and should really strive to eat every two hours no matter what. Breakfast…
  • And that is different to most diets.... How??? Some of these people were 28 with sever health problems. So for me if the show saved one life its worth all the morons out there killing themselves with working to hard than killing themselves eating. I'm sorry but of all the reality shows it to me is the best.
  • Of course there are going to be people abusing the situation just like with everything else. I personally love the Biggest Loser. It is the reason that I ran my first marathon. I don't think its possible for me to drop 10 everyweek, I'm not that stupid, but I do think if I worked out for 6 hours a day I couldbe to my goal…
  • Hi Becky, I am also at a high risk of diabetes (both paternal and maternal grandparents and fater) which is one reason I am on my own journey. My aunt was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer caused by vomiting due to her bypass surgery. I have also had friends that have become anemic with hair loss and a host of…
  • Weight is a life long struggle for me. I would be glad to throw some support your way. I just started to get serious and found that all the friend are a huge help. Even if just knowing other people will know if I don't log in helps me think about my choices.
  • I would love to help you out. I am also working on my M.S. with a husband that is 6'2 and 190 pounds. He's supportive but I don't think people who have never had a weigh problem can ever fully understand.
  • WW is the first diet I ever had success on. I lost 75 pounds and kept it off for about 10 years. I would join again if I had a friend to go with me and the money to pay. Instead of just calories, Points are based on calories, fat, and fiber. There are staples that you have to do such as calcium, veggies, water ect. but you…
  • YOU CAN DO. Its super hard when there are others relying on you but keep in mind you can take care of your little ones longer and better if you are healthy. My advice... Plan your meals!! This takes a lot of time initially but after a few week you have lots of ideas to look back on and reuse. And your kids will also get…
