Uh, my Husband is 6'2 and 130 lbs. He's just naturally very slender, always has been. Unless his eating habits have changed and he's not eating enough, there's no need to be concerned.

Ha ha, I'm originally from around the Cleveland area, now live in the GTA and *I* miss my home too! :D Let's switch!

I'm American, but I live in Oakville. :D

Kim Kardashian!

From that study: "The symposium was sponsored by the American Society for Nutrition and supported in part by an educational grant from the Corn Refiners Association." Yeeaaaaaah, I'm sure that's not biased at all....

I'm glad to know that gaining like that has happened to other people when they started and that it's normal. I'll definitely start drinking more water - I've been drinking 1.5 liters a day, so I'll up to 3 and see if that helps. Thanks so much for your advice and reply. :)

The only one I know for sure is insulin resistance, which I realize many people with PCOS have that, so it's a possibility. Thank you for your reply, it did ease my mind. :)

Thank you SO much. I was wondering about those inches! I'll definitely up my water intake. :) Your reply was so helpful.

Thank you. I appreciate your advice. I think I will definitely start taking pictures and will try to have patience. It's difficult when you've waited so long to conceive. :)

I just checked, hun, and your BMR is actually closer to 1915. http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ Assuming you don't get any exercise, your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) is 2298 calories. By "set a deficit of 1300 daily," do you mean you eat 1300, or you are eating 1300 calories less than your BMR? Because either…

As I mentioned above, my diet is good. 2200 cal, I weigh everything, and evidence in that I've lost 5 inches the past 2 weeks off my hips and waist.

I actually have insulin resistance, and that's why I started on MFP, to reduce it. I gotta say, a lot of doctors don't recognize it. I've been to many doctors in the past and they never even thought of it. I found out last year because my fertility doctor recognized some of the signs - I have acanthosis nigricans on the…

I think you've won my cheesecake loving heart. LOL

That's how I feel about my Mom's potato salad! People actually fight over it at family reunions. LOL
-
I don't even know what that is, but it sounds AMAZING. :D
-
YES. I also love canned whipped cream. I can't keep it in the house because I keep getting into it. I can't trust myself...:ohwell:

Baconator, med fries and a diet coke. I used to dislike Wendys, but now? Yum.
-
Dude, sarcasm? Because I was getting nuggets from Wendys in 1998...LOL

I don't know, I wasn't a really big fan of how you treated Princess Bubblegum...;)

I do genealogy for my family, so I actually know for certain! I'm mostly Irish, with some German/Swiss/Scottish/English thrown in, and my great-grandfather came from the Métis people in Quebec - he called himself a "French-Speaking Indian." Some of my family was in America as far back as the Mayflower, and some of them…

I'm in Oakville? :)

I don't see how you could compare the 2. Have you ever seen Hairspray on broadway? It's AMAZING, and the music was written by Marc Shaiman, who is basically a musical genius. Way better music, way better plot!

34, taken and from your username, police?

As soon as I saw the post, I thought, "Pushing Daisies." Nice to see I'm not the only one! :) And UGLY BETTY. It broke my heart when that show ended.

Wow, Abby just ventured into concern trolling.
-
Thanks very much! :)
-
Fantastic idea, thank you. I'll go do that right now. :)

I don't have any advice on how to record it, as I did that before I got on MFP, but I just wanted to say that's a brilliant program. I was 380 lbs and started running with that program. :) Good luck!
