I can now do toes to bar without a swing in between. Also, I can do kipping handstands to floor level. Very happy. Everything is coming on this month. I've even started vlogging my journey on youtube as I want to track my progress visually.

Well this is kind of an odd victory but I've just realized that ever since I started crossfit ( Sept) I've always been the top 3 on the leader board. I get in more double unders during a WOD , when my body is that knackered, it relaxes and makes me not think about it as much. When I go in for a session and warm up with the rope, I can't get as many.

Yeah I know i'll have some sort of bruising but just want to try an minimize it. It doesn't help that I bruise easy anyway. From the mon - weds I was doing all kinds of heavy lifting, plus lifiting in the wods too. So probably would have got bruising anyway even if I didn't let it slam.

Actually, I've just worked out what it is. Watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xa8_SXhe4EU and realized I'm catching the bar with my elbows too low, so it falls on/below my collarbone.

My daughter goes to nursery from mon - weds, so only time I can go and membership is three times a week.

I do three days a week, in a row. I went lighter on the weights today though, so guess that was my adaption. My shoulders and collar bone are bruised lol and my thighs... I do bruise easy though. It amazes me how these athletes have smooth skin!

I just added you. I was doing handstand push ups yesterday... My god! I didn't get full range of motion but I was going down a little bit and then pushing myself up. It's a start. Yeah I'm going to work on moving away from the wall this week. I can't even imagine me kipping or doing the walking push ups!

Third week - 50 kg on the back squat now. Did my 1 rep max on the clean & snatch yesterday, got 47 and a half for the snatch and 32 and a half for the clean :) Did my first handstand against the wall today... never done one in my life!! Can't imagine doing it without the wall!

Well i'm utter *kitten* now! I got 30 in a wod today but that wasn't in a row. I keep travelling backwards and apparently that's why im catching the rope.

What's double dutch ?? hahaha I went in yesterday and got 4 in a row but then, only got 1 02 in a row... I got frustrated, so just hung up my rope lol Wish I had a garden to go practice in. I guess I could try at the park, when I take my daughter to the park. It's something I really want to get good at.

Yes totally. I've already noticed my biceps getting bigger! I was already doing some lifting before crossfit but nothing like on this level. The great thing about joining crossfit is that I know my body will change and I know I will develop a range of skills. Can't wait.
