I'm 5'7" and started at 177 (just before MFP). I'm down to 168 right now but have thrown the scale in the closet for a while since I'm just starting a serious weight lifting program with a trainer. My goal is 130-140 range (depending on how much muscle I develop). Friend request sent!!

I don't have advice but I hear ya! I feel the same way! And honestly there are quite a few days where the mirror is not my friend either! It's getting better though and I won't stop until my goal is met and I look (and feel) like I know I can!

I usually just have mine mixed with water and downed really fast (I think of it more as a fuel than a food) but once in a while when I'm in the mood for using it as a food, I will blend it with banana and peanut butter (only natural pb of course). May I suggest Marianne Williamson's book "A Course in Weight Loss". It helps you uncover the reasons for emotional eating etc. It helped me a whole lot and I had a lot of "aha moments" but I still have more work to do so a year later, I am just beginning to read/complete it all again.
