  • I'm due Sept. :)
  • Hi there! I sent a friend invite :)
  • 1 lb a week is still good. Maybe you need to slow down on exercising as often. As long as you keep eating at a deficit you can take a day off of exercise here and there. Also as you get closer to your goal weight you're going to slow down how fast you lose. Keep your chin up :)
  • You could try contacting a local counselor who specializes in anxiety disorders. They could help coach you through it with coping skills and exposure therapy so it's gradual and doable.
  • I've got one and it's alright. Sometimes it's irritating to wear a watch like thing all the time. Sometimes it's irritating to have a watch like thing that doesnt tell you the time... Otherwise it's handy for work competitions and for motivation for getting out and going for another few laps around the house if you're…
  • Thanks so much for all the answers :) I'll certainly look into those links more. It's motivating for me to understand what exactly is going on when I exercise. The results seem that much more closer if I know I'm on the right track and just keep going. I love knowing the mechanics how and why it works. I really didn't…
  • Added you, I've got a fitbit too, and trying to increase daily activity. It's hard when I sit most of the day at a desk.
  • Keep the weight goal the same (or even higher o,o) and focus on building muscle mass. It'll look and feel better :)
  • You are at a healthy weight for your height and age. Focus on strength training rather than cardio exercise and eat to maintain. Muscle looks better than fat. There’s such things as being "skinny fat." Focus on being healthy. Yoga would count, and it's lots of fun.
  • Why not set little goals. I found that when I met my big goal something still felt missing. There was no huge sense of satisfaction. I like competition when we do games at work (like 10k step challenge) so that was more enjoyable for me.
  • Not enough info, need to know height and age. Check out the posts about tdee and BMR. Weight is a matter of calories in vs calories out. Being under 100 lbs is excessively underweight unless maybe you are under 5 ft.
  • While pregnant bipolar tends to get very bad and the psychiatrist who specializes in women's health that i work with recomends her bipolar patients stay on their medication. Most of the time (as long as you arent on depakote) the benefits of medication outweigh the risks for bipolar disorder. While I am not a doctor I am a…
  • No. BMR is the bare minimum your body needs to sustain itself if you were in a coma. To lose weight you need to eat more than your BMR. TDEE is the number of calories you burn in a day. If you eat that you maintain, more you gain, and less you lose (again provided you eat more than BMR) Check out the stickied topics that…

  • I love this too. I dont want this to happen to my daughter.
  • I'm agreeing with poster who recomended weight lifting. You are at a healthy weight. There is such a thing as being "skinny fat" where you're weight is low but you dont look as good. Work on building muscle/strength. The number may look worse but you'll look better and feel better. If you want evidence check out this link.…
  • I am still at it. Seriously trying to do this when unknown food is around and sweets are everywhere Im still at it. Even if I'm not spot on, I'm logging and thats the hardest thing to keep doing.
  • To make an assertive responce is 3 parts Facts, Feelings, Fair request. Speak to her alone tell her that her comments about how or what you eat make you feel judged and that you dont like it. Please refrain from commenting about my eating habbits. Keep it simple. Use your own words (I'm just guessing about what your most…
  • Is it worth working overtime for a house if your marriage is on the rocks, and you have no time for yourself to de stress? The important thing is to find balance, find time to reconnect and like each other again. Not working 6 days a week (even if one is only a few hours) may make a big difference in finding balance. You…
  • looking good :) Having a waist is definately a victory
  • Congradulations! :) I'm so impressed at how you've stuck with it.
  • Sent you an invite :) I'm getting back on the wagon too. It helps having positive people to be accountable to.
  • Hello, I'm 30 and work full time. My daughter is 2 yo. I did MFP at the begining of 2013 with good results, i lost about 12 lb in 4 months or so. Hubby is getting closer to willing to try for #2 and I'd rather be starting my weight gain from lower than my current weight. I'm 5'2.5 at 144 lb about what i maintained after…
  • Keep in mind the detox from caffeine is only about 3 days. You can do it.
  • Effectively yes a calorie is a calorie as far as weight loss goes. Ultimately if you eat at a calorie deficit you will lose weight regardless of what you eat. However if you eat more processed foods you will probably be more hungry for the same amount of calories eating more natrual. Personally I use my calories as a…
  • Try to stay focused on your own loss. People lose at different rates. They may have started off higher than you so may be losing faster. The point is that you're changing YOUR life and for the better. As long as you're making the change and seeing some results ultimately who cares how long it takes? The point is to get…
  • You're probably not eating enough calories for your body to feel comfortable losing any more. Please check out http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 I was stalled for a while but when i boosted my callories to 1500 the number started to shift. Weight comes off slower when…
