When I sat on my bed to do my hair and looked in the mirror and everything had squished up and out - yuck! When I stand it was not so bad! Also, not wanting to die due to diabetes, heart disease and hypertension at a young age.

I think it depends on how much you weigh - heavier people do burn more because they are carrying themselves around too. If you are down as moderately/lightly active you should not count housework because the MFP database has already factored in some housework. The only things that count are sweaty, panty cardio activities.

Being overweight does not make you ugly. I find that when I lose my excess weight, I do not feel any happier or sadder than before! Don't buy it unless you can fit into it. As you lose weight and exercise, your actual body shape changes in different ways around your body. And remember - it may only be £9 but it should be spent on something that is absolutely perfect or put it towards something that is perfect. How hard do you have to work to earn £9!?

Don't eat too many raw veggies and make sure your beans are cooked thoroughly. The gas is your body trying to digest the huge amount of fibres in your food. Mint sauce is good.

What a fantastic post - this is such a common thing for so many people. Keep yourself busy, keep away from the kitchen, keep a mug of warm herbal/fruit tea to hand and keep filling it up with more hot water. The sensation of something warm going down your throat is good and the water fills you up.

I have hit 10 stone 10 pounds and those around me have said the same. I do not want to lose so much on my face that I look gaunt, tired and old. I have decided to maintain now. I am going to focus on abs and core work to tighten up.
