Well that's good news it's not actually a stress fracture. Nice that the doctors is still encouraging exercise if you feel you can, hopefully being gentle with it will be a good thing. And congrats on w3d1 ๐ช

@CILLAJ8 so sorry, I totally missed your message. Legs are much better thanks, managed the full 25 today ๐ช Can't wait to do it and it feel easier though. I think that's the end goal, to do the 30 min comfortably. I am doing the 5k, just need to stop including the warm up and cool down to see if I'm running the 5k. I do runโฆ

@SuzieQ136 Oh no!!! Didn't realise that run was in the new shoes! That does sound super painful. ๐ค Fingers crossed you're on the mend nice and quick, but running can wait, don't want to aggravate it and be out of action for even longer
-
Congrats @briscogun !! @SuzieQ136 have you been out in the new shoes yet? I tried w7d1, got to about 10min and my legs said no! Got a few little runs in on the way back, but all in all I have discovered I can't run the day after a class full of squats and lunges ๐คฃ

Congratulations on all the life milestones. Welcome back

Woohoo @CILLAJ8, well done ๐ I'm already debating what to do when I finish, similar plan to you at the moment. @suzieq136 I bet you notice the difference straight away! Let us know. I'm gearing myself up for w6d3, haven't looked at what it is yet, I try not to look before I leave the house so that I can't make excuses ๐

Thanks all. Much appreciated. Less is definitely more in this case, I've gone for the Fitbit, lets see how I get on
-
@SuzieQ136 I'm 100% no expert, I'm a newbie myself but what sort of shoes are you wearing? I had knee pain and really bad shin splints the first few weeks and my friend made me buy some proper running trainers (I was wearing cheap and cheerful trainers I bought years ago). They did a gait analysis with me running on aโฆ

I reeeeeaaaaaalllly want to eat a whole pack of jaffa cakes, I don't even have any, they're considered essential shopping right?

I was exactly the same and the minute a forced myself to work out before work for a couple of days I was hooked. And when I say forced, I mean it, I would do anything for that extra 3 minutes in bed.

C25K w6d1 done! Felt a bit cocky when I saw the programme, but nope not easy yet :D 2nd best 5k time though. Good set up for the day!

I'm not proud of (dare I say angry about) the stupid chocolate flapjack that I ate at 10pm last night, it wasn't even that nice

Hi, North London over here

Hi all, first try at the app, starting week 6 tomorrow eeek!

Oh, to clarify, I'm not against shakes, just realised I might be contradicting my diary by saying I was avoiding fad diets when they're clearly meal replacement ones.

Awww, I would be far too distracted <3

Great timing, just re-downloaded the app, lets hope this can kick start me! Day/Weight/Comment 1/8 - 1/9 - 1/10 - 1/11 - 1/12 - 1/13 - 1/14 - 1/15 - 1/16 - 1/17 -

Ta all :)

Most me I meet claim to be 6' or 6'2 and they clearly aren't! I've recently met a nice 6'4er that I'm tempted to keep. When I was single though my girl friends would point out men they considered tall and even sitting down I could tell their height, it almost turned into a game with us haha

First place I lose weight :'( I've got bras from a C to an E cup
