Ps. Water helps detox the lactic buildup! Drink lots. :-)

I consider it a good workout if I am sore and a waste if not. Granted, your body will adjust.... But yes I think ur normal. :-)

Welcome!!! U can do this. Just try to focus on long term goals. And this will help u to have long term perceptions.... To realize that one bad meal... Day... Or even week is no reason to give up! five years from now.... That cupcake will be a distant memory. :-)

Leaning up is 80% diet.... Clean eating is the best way to get there. ....

By all means.... Yes. Eat more!!! :-)

PS. i recommend MFP to many people but one thing i have noticed is that they calculate our needs a lot different than i think i would like for my calorie needs to be calculated. IMHO MFP recommends that we eat too few cals.... i am coaching 5 different people on their weightloss journey and they started 2 weeks ago at my…

way back when i started at 254 lbs, i was eating 1200 calories and totally slowed down my metabolism. in my experience, you CANNOT starve yourself for many reasons... it's not healthy, it messes with your metabolism, and you will easily gain back anything you lose. i don't know your weight, but usually you can safely take…

planks!! i do high plank, low plank, plank punches (punch right arm forward, then left, and alternate leaving one hand on the ground), plank knee tuck (tuck one knee towards opposite armpit and switch), plank run (high plank, and mountain climb with feet while in plank)... planks are simply the BEST core workout. then…

i too considered surgery at my heighest weight, but i am here to tell you that YOU can do this! YOU do not need surgery... and many people that I know have gained back their weight even after the cost and medical issues of sugery... i know several others who have done a liquid diet and also gained it back. You are doing…

my best advice would be to step back and take a "big picture" look at your situation. i know your ideal goal is 135, but look how far you have come. maybe your body needs the maintenance break for a while. at 160 lbs i was eating 1600 cals and losing.... and i also ate back my cals. when i ate at 1300 cals i wanted to just…

Hard to say... have you been fitted for shoes? Most running stores will do a stride analysis to look for any unbalanced/misalignment issues. The only thing I can relate this to is when I do the elliptical I get numb feet... but not quite the same. I would suspect that if it's not serious this will go away as you get…

try not to run everyday. i am training for a marathon and only run 3 or 4 days a week. you HAVE to rest!!! this is probably why you are having pain.... i would say, completely rest for a few days until the pain subsides.... then ease back into walking.... maybe biking.

use the bands! just wrap them around something that will hold, and pull down instead of "up" in whatever fashion they do it on the vid. this is what my workout partner and i did and it really worked.

i plan my meals mostly and allow myself to eat a little more than normal, etc. but i am also maintaining and not necessarily losing. but something else to consider would be to try to get in a big workout over the weekend so that eating more/etc. doesn't have such a severe impact. i'm in this for life and life includes…

it's not too bad... my knees were sore the ENTIRE insanity 60 day workout period. i had to brace myself to even sit on the toilet. LOL. but i did love it.... it's just such an amazing hard core workout.

just remember not all sugars are created the same. it sounds like you know that HFCS is bad, but natural fructose is actually not so bad since fruit has fiber in addition to the sugar. i reduce refined sugar by not consuming products with refined sugar... (except ice cream! LOL) but fructose and naturally occuring sugars…

i am right there with you. to the point where it became a bit of an obsession.... had to do something about it so i looked into anti-anxiety/depression options. hope you find relief soon....

<3 u sunny!!! This is going to be good. Get ready cuz this is the last time u will begin this journey.... Time to claim that life u envision and be the mom u want to be!!!!

when i carb up for a race, i carb up the 3rd and 2nd day before... not the day before. to truly fuel the glycogen of your muscles you need to start earlier. not to mention you don't want to have gastric distress of any kind during your tournament. as for what to have when you are there, have lots of gatorade or something…

isn't this the strangest thing ever? i have thought and thought about this and the only conclusion i can come to is.... it's out of fear. i used to fear that it wasn't "real" or that my success was only temporary... or that i wasn't truly losing weight... fear that it would come back, fear that i would let myself down or…

i try to stay below 2500 and it's not always possible. just try to stay below 3000 ideally. most americans are clueless about this and get way more than 3000 without even thinking twice, it's no wonder that heart disease and high BP is so rampant. i wish our society would realize we are killing ourselves!!! i was on high…

my pleasure!!! never give up on YOU! you are SO worth it... <3

When it seems like u have messed everything up and ruined a day or meal.... This is when it matters most that u stay the course. It's not the "bad" food that will hurt your journey.... But how you handle urself afterwards!!!

Walk... Walk run... Jillian is great... Hip hop abs... Turbo jam... Power90.... Slim in 6... Or even the shakeology 30 and 50 DVDs are all great for starting out!!!!

Hey guys. I have literally tried a dew different heart rate monitors and also had the bodymediafit. I wrote a blog about this at raeannesisson.com. The title is buggin out. But after wearing it a month I found that I didn't need it quite as much as I thought because my daily burns were pretty consistent. Once I saw that I…

Hey there!! I have lots of great ideas on my flickr food stream. I started it a while back when people I know ask me about wha I eat. You can find a link to it on m blog below. Or go to flickr and look me up. (raeannesisson)

Are u taking a multi or other supplements? shakeology has literally allowed me to remain cold/flu free for over a year and my ailments seem to go away quite fast. It has all vitamins and minerals for the day plus antigens, adaptogens, prebiotics, anti inflammatory ingredients like blueberry and wheat grass.

Great question!! I am in the same boat. I agree about not wanting surgery but at the same time I know I have about 5-10 lbs of skin alone I could get rid of. I have maintained for a year and continue to stay active and eat right. I am training for a marathon and I mix in biking and strength training. I want the skin to…

Everyone is definitely on their own journey. In the interest of never starting my own journey over agin and again.... I will never restrict myself to 1200 cals as long as I live. And I do mean LIVE. Run... Bike... Walk..... EAT and maintain my healthy weight all the while living more than I ever have before. Eating 1200…
