I wasn't typically eating back my exercise calories. However, on friday and saturday nights I did tend to overindulge but still tracked everything. It would typically be a higher supper with a few bevvies :)

Thanks everyone for your input. I truly appreciate every comment and am so thankful to have found such a supporting group on MFP. I realize that weight loss is a personal journey and what will work for one person may not work for the next. I am going to take each of your advice to heart and try and figure out what works…

@davekang Yes it says that my BMR is 1800. Reducing that by 300-500 calories a day would put me in line with the 1500 recommended by MFP if I changed from 2 pounds loss a week to 1 pound loss. I think I will up my calories a bit this week and be sure to eat what is recommended...

I'm not set on taking any route. I just want to be healthy and fit and within my recommended BMI. Since September, I have gained 15 pounds and looking to shed those pounds to start,,,,

Thank you. Yes, I was thinking of getting one of the salads.. and asking for a grilled chicken breast. Or, going with a wrap (turkey or chicken with no mayo) and having a side salad. I am really bad at estimating calories though.

Do you use Songza? It is a free app that streams playlists. There are a whole bunch of ready made workout playlists. It has made my workouts so much more fun and you can switch it up daily without having to download more music.

Sadly, I gained 1 pound this week. I'm disappointed as I felt as though I had a great week, but moving on and hoping my body will more than make up with the gain with a fabulous loss next week!

I have lost weight before and I am back at it again. The first time, I went from 194 to 152..However, after getting married and settling into marital bliss, I found myself at 174. Currently, at 169.5 and aiming for 155.
