I will be 31wks tomorrow and up 21.2lbs. I didn't start gaining until I was 17wks. Everyone is different. As long as your OB/Midwife is okay with your weight gain then I wouldn't worry.

Married (5yrs this August) with a 2yr old daughter and another little girl on the way :)

The only thing that's bad I can think of are the cholesterol in the yolks. I eat 4 hard boiled egg whites and just throw the yolks away. Maybe just eat 1 with yolk and the rest whites?

I pay $10/month for a basic membership to Planet Fitness. It's very basic - treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and weights, but I don't need much.

I really like having both actually. The food scale I use daily to measure my protein and it's nice to have accurate #'s for both food & calories burned during exercise with the HRM. I have the Polar FT7 and it's really great.

I am 5'4" and 142.4lbs. I am in a loose 8 and some 6's. I don't wear juniors size.

I am not actively losing weight b/c I made goal last month. I would hate for friends to delete me b/c of that. I am still on supporting everyone and would still like some support during my maintenance period. I don't see anything wrong with that. I have only deleted 1 or 2 people due to inactivity or no support. Do what's…

I made the Asian glazed drumsticks the other night and they were AMAZING! My husband doesn't even like drumsticks but he was licking the bones! HA! I paired the drumsticks with steamed cauliflower and white rice. I have also heard great things about the chicken divan - I have to try that one soon!

I agree with the OP's. See how you feel at 230-235 and reasses your goal then. I had my goal set and when I got there I decided to go down another 10lbs and was successful.

My brother and sister in law are on MFP. I definitely like having them on here to see their progress.

Hi All! I am new here and thought I would say hello! I am pregnant with my 2nd child and due 8/17/12 :) We found out the beginning of December and told our family over the Christmas holiday. We just had our 1st dating ultrasound and got to see our little bean. It was truly amazing! Besides feeling tired 24/7 I am doing…

Sounds delish! Def. going to try it out!

I am simply counting calories as well and lost 25lbs in 4 months. I've been on maintenance for almost 1 month and doing great. My #1 issue before MFP was portion control and using MFP has been a huge eye opener. I am still able to eat foods I love, but just 1 portion instead of 5 :)

I did a 5k on Thanksgiving Day and my time was 28.01. On the treadmill I like to average about a 10min mile...sometimes a little faster. I stink on the treadmill - haha.

I got a pair of New Balance running sneakers from Kohl's for like $40 (used coupons too).

I have Zumba 2 & Just Dance 3 and like them both. I feel like I get a "better workout" with Zumba 2.

Boredom...especially at work. I end up snacking on too much crap and I'm not even hungry.

I got the Polar FT7 for Christmas and I love it!!!

I do believe that breakfast is an important meal in the day. I usually don't eat breakfast until about 1-2hrs after I wake up. Even if it's just a piece of fruit at least it's something.

I have the zumba fitness 2 for the Wii and love it. I also just got Just Dance 3, but I don't find it to be a great workout for me. I guess I need to learn the dance moves first. The Wii Fit is okay - the only worthwhile workout would be boxing or the hula hoop :)
-
I'm getting the Polar FT7 for Christmas and I can't wait. I've read a few different forum posts about HRM recommendations and everyone usually recommends the Polar FT4 or FT7.
-
I've been on maintenance for a little over 2 weeks and have 1700 calories per day (more when I exercise) and I don't find it that hard to stay within my daily goal. I will continue to track for awhile until I feel comfortable, but will stay here and continue to support my other MFP friends.

I am 5'4" and my goal weight was 140-145lbs. I am in the higher range now but I feel great. Please don't let anyone make you feel like you lost too much, look too skinny or look bad.

Amazing job on the weight loss and donating your old clothes :)

I'm getting the Polar FT7 for Christmas. I can't wait! It was about $80.

I wore an old pair of sneakers and tossed them after the race. I tied them so tight they hurt my feet, but it was totally worth it and my shoes never came off during the race. There were alot of people who lost their sneakers in the mud b/c they didn't tie them tight enough. Good luck!

I am 5'4" and my ideal weight is between 140-145. I am there (towards the high end though) and very happy with the way I look. Still have some curves but less "jiggle"!

I average about a 10 min mile most of the time. Sometimes faster. The last 5k I did was on Thanksgiving day and my time was 28.01 so a bit faster than normal, but the adrenaline really pushed me.
