White tea is awesome!! All of the benefits of Green tea, but even more antioxidants and it doesn't taste "grassy". I also like lots of different herbal teas for the taste and the benefits they provide. Ginger tea for an upset tummy, Chamomile for relaxation, Dandelion tea for when you're feeling bloated, Peppermint tea for…

Oh, wow... the memories!!! There was pretty much *always* something made by Hostess in my shiny plastic lunchbox!! I'll take my mini-muffins & crackers'n cheeze with a side of gushers and a squeezit, Mom... thanks!!!

bump!! just stocked up on canned pumpkin today. if the "Spartan" store brand is available in your area, check it out! It has less calories per serving than Libby's. i'm particularly interested in pumpkin soup recipes, if anyone has some to share! :flowerforyou:

Sounds good :) I would also like to know the baking temp/time before attempting, though!

Dry roasted soy nuts are good! Also dried fruit and nuts. Just watch for added salt and/or sugar.

Thanks for this link! Good information :flowerforyou: I recently switched from dried cranberries to cherries, because it finally dawned on me that they generally add a TON of sugar to the cranberries.

I like to add ground flax seeds to my yogurt, smoothies, etc. for extra fiber, or toss some alfalfa sprouts in my salads or sandwiches :)

I'm not in Baltimore *yet*, but I'm moving there in October! I love that city so much  Have you see this? http://runforyourlives.com/locations/baltimore/

White tea will give you all of the benefits of green tea, but with a milder flavor. There are lots of herbal teas with great benefits, too! Dandelion root tea and peppermint tea will help with water retention and bloating, ginger tea and chamomile will also help with digestion. The fruity herbals like the ones from…

My mom just picked up a little dehydrator from a garage sale for a couple of bucks and gave it to me. I have *no* idea how to use it, and I can't find a manual for it!! It just says "Cyclone Food Dehydrator" on it. Any advice on how to start? Just slice up some stuff and stick in until it's dry?? Thanks in advance…

Thanks so much for the websites and the tips, guys!! I'm really excited and can't wait to get started :) I'm definitely going to try more than one of these recipes, including one from Rachel Ray to use them as "boats" stuffed with some kind of seafood salad (I think she used crab, but I'll probably use a pouch of salmon or…

I feel like a broken record on MFP lately, but my best answer is TEA! I drink several cups of tea throughout the day and they really curb my appetite and my cravings. Check out this link about which teas are best for this: http://www.livestrong.com/article/472278-herbal-appetite-suppressant-teas/ My favorites are dandelion…

This is seriously unbelievably easy & good! I *just* made it, and I still can't believe it. I mixed the ingredients (with no modifications) in a glass bowl, nuked it for two minutes, and let it cool for another couple of minutes. The bread ended up gorgeous and about an inch or so thick. It slid cleanly right out of the…

You can't spot reduce "chub" or fat, unfortunately. You have to burn it off through cardio and calorie deficit. That being said, I like to do scissor kicks to tone up the inner thigh muscles. You can really feel it target that area. Here's how to do it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWKTmFv76I8 Best wishes <3

Bump, because I'm interested in these numbers, too! I'm new to watching carbs, and so far I'm sticking to around 50g to 70g a day.

Ugh, forget about the bolt-ons!!! So gross. You should be proud that you're all-natural! Screw the insecure haters.

Bump for later! Great info, thanks for sharing :)

I've been using some cottage cheese thrown in instead!!! Or different mustards (honey, horseradish, dijon) :D Sounds weird but it's good and much better for you than dressings.

Teas!! I have amassed quite a collection of different teas for different times and cravings. They're warm and make you feel satisfied and full and generally have zero cals. The fruity herbal teas can really help you out of a sweets crisis moment, and many of those herbals have excellent health benefits, as do white and…
