No, drinking green or any other tea won't cause any significant weight loss. The only reason to drink any tea is because you enjoy it. If the weight loss claims were true I would weigh less than zero lbs. The reality is I'm 60 lbs overweight.

I gave up bread and have cut way back on on other starchy foods. Wasn't a problem to do so. Why do you need a bread alternative?

The biggest drawback, imo, is that they are somewhat lacking in quality nutrition value. There are better choices when you look at the long term. Occasional use, ok for when you really need the convenience.

IMO, such cravinngs indicate you are needing some nutrient from those particular foods. In my experience with similar cravings, once your body has obtained sufficient quanties of the nutrients the craving or anticipation will cease.

Just speculation, but most men with big bellys wear their pants well below the waist. Once the belly starts shrinking it could be that the pants are being worn just a little higher or closer to the waist.

I've seen several comments that people feel cold when they are losing weight. The water you are drinkng isn't the cause.

Some decades ago Paul Harvey had a "Rest of the Story" segment about a person in Great Britain who drank him/her self to death. It was mae to seem as though it was alcohol but in the end it was water. The amounnt consumed was 35 pints per day near the time of the persons death.
