I haven't checked mine but when I first started I was at 39.9% -- I thought I was 50%!! I have a personal trainer and she wants me down to 30-29% within a month. I hope it's possible!

I love you, girl! You are doing so great! I bet you look so good right now and I didn't even think you looked that bad when we first met. Anyway, call me soon so we can catch up. <3

MEN BEWARE!! THIS TOPIC IS ABOUT MENSTRUAL CYCLES!! To the OP: To answer your question, I am currently going through my cycle. I notice that days before it comes, I don't really have cravings but I constantly feel hungry. The other day I was exercising and I had cramps like a mother... so I pushed through my workout -…

Thanks everyone! A little self-control has helped as well. Thanks for all your suggestions!

I can do this. I can cut it out after dinner. I'll start tonight.

Some nights I can honestly say I am hungry. My stomach is rumbling, and I feel empty. Other nights I'm just bored in front of the TV.

Usually it's after dinner. If I eat a good size meal, a couple of hours later I'm already wanting more food. Sometimes, I'm thinking about what I'm going to eat later while I'm eating dinner!!! It's sick. I feel sick about it. In some ways I'm scared to eat more calories during the day because I'm afraid I won't have any…

Yes, it is usually carbs. I love love love carbs. I'm a mashed potato person - for sure.

This is good advice. Plus, there are other things in fruit and vegetables that are better than juicing. Such as eating a full orange. The rines in the orange is anti-cancerous and has loaded health benefits. When you juice, you're missing the rines.

Keep a journal - or use MFP everyday. Be religious about it. Really find out where all your calories go. I wouldn't be surprised if you were going over 1800 if you aren't keeping a strict log of every calorie. Everything you put in your mouth, log it. Are you drinking sodas? If so, you need to cut that out right away and…

You know, I would give him the opportunity to change, and if it doesn't change. I would leave him. But you need to be crystal clear to him that you are happy in your relationship (if you are) and you're not going to leave him. Explain your reasons for doing what you do. See if he changes. Maybe he needs to see that you're…

Oh I totally agree with this! I think you're referring to Ashley & Koli. I've been watching Biggest Loser since Season 1. In what I have seen, and this of course is just my opinion. But for those that are severely and morbidly overweight (over 500 lbs or over 400 lbs) they don't seem to have the best results. Ashley is on…

This. Also there's another brand at Whole Foods called "Calm" it comes in little packets at .69 cents or you can buy the bottle for about $10. This stuff is AWESOME. It's all natural, I believe it's main ingredient is magnesium. Try that, this stuff puts me to sleep immediately.

Try taking all the extra bread-ing out of the bread? Tell them to rip out the all the insides of the bread to cut those carbs.

How about not focusing on what the "reason" is and simply get back on the bandwagon? You might want to see a therapist (no offense) to help you figure out your "reasons" are. Sometimes talking them out with someone you trust could help figure out the WHY's. There might be reasons that you are unaware of. Reasons that…

A lot of partners do this because they feel that once you lose the weight, you will lose them for someone else that's better. Maybe he thinks you'll meet someone that's as into fitness as you are or will be and he's very insecure about that. This is still unhealthy. You cannot succumb to this. He is impeding your ability…

I agree. I don't see a problem here with being 5'3" at 110 pounds. Seems like you are on the lower end of ideal here, but why would you want to lose weight? And how much are you planning on losing? I'm dying to do Crossfit once I get my weight to a healthy level that I can handle Crossfit. I bet you'd like it too. Look at…

I wasn't referring to you when I said that statement was lame, so I'm not sure why you responded to that. If I offended you, or if you took it personally, I'm sorry. As for my weight loss. I am a success story that has failed. I lost 60 pounds got down to my goal weight and kept it off for a year, which yes, felt…

Can't spot reduce fat. It will eventually come off. I've heard of some studies that show a diet with balanced Omega-3s help with belly fat, but I have a feeling Cortisol might've been the cause for this belly fat as Omega-3s are shown to reduce Cortisol levels. The only thing that situps do is make the abs stronger. The…

I know I shouldn't, but I weigh in every morning. Weekly is ideal.

Agreed. With reference to the Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels is my God. She's the one who I quoted "Calories in, Calories out. Weight loss is simple math. Losing weight is simple, it is not easy." I just listened to her podcast in which she said it again. So it didn't come from me. Anyone wanna call Jillian and tell her…

There is no difference between the math of MFP and the math of weight loss. Calories in, Calories out. Calories out have to be more than calories in. BMR? I understand what you and jack are saying regarding calories - we are on the same page, so I'm not sure what all the fighting is about. If she burns 200 calories in the…

He didn't say to stop eating. I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge that if you're on a calorie deficit of 1200 calorie limit, you're going to lose weight if your body was accustomed to 2000+ calories. However, it does not warrant eating back all the calories you just burned. How is your body supposed to tap into its own…

Diet & Exercise go hand-in-hand. Exercise fuels weight loss and diet helps the body to continue to lose. I can't believe there are people on this message board telling people that you don't need to exercise to lose weight. I don't come here for unhealthy thinking. Cocaine also helps you lose weight, should I start the…

TO THE OP: If you're truly watching what you eat and maintaining your calorie deficit, then you might want to see an Endocrinologist and get tested for hormone issues.

I disagree with the last 6 or 7 posts. I was really taken aback by some of the comments people posted to Devins. We are here to support, not bring people down. Losing weight is simple, no one said it was easy. It's simple math.

I'm pro-paleo and I think it does a body good.

kage: Awesome! You sound like you're a go-getter.

I think a lot of people were being honest with you and feel that you aren't being serious about health. That is a joke of an exercise and if you're seriously considering it as exercise or strength training, then what do you consider sitting around all day? I'm not trying to be mean, but weight loss and lifestyle changes…
