Make sure you use a tape measure, too! Sometimes in the past when I thought I hit a plateau, I could see the results through taping my neck, arms, waist, and thighs, even though the scale didn't show anything. Keep your chin up! You'll see more results soon!

I mark mine down as well, but as a moderate, light activity (not hard core!) I do it after I work out a few days a week, and I keep moving for a couple hours, I guess in my mind to try to keep the heart rate up more than just lounging would, but no I wouldn't consider it comparable to cardio, but it does burn a few…

I say if you feels its good calling (I see your religious like me) and you feel passionate about it, go for it! Believe it or not, it may be a bad economy, but I do see many who are paying for gym memberships and such. People will still spend on what they really want! Keep us posted on how it goes!
