  • Good luck! You did fantastic last time, you know how to do it and you WILL do it again! I've restarted about a week ago. I already feel much better! My main thing is having good, low carb treats available. HAve you made the low carb muffin cheese cakes?
  • I stay away from pasta, breads, etc. I do eat beans, fruits and veggies.
  • I have struggled with this very thing. I have started doing crockpot dinners most nights because it's so much easier to do that instead of trying to cook and then clean up, bathe kids, get them to bed.... It have started planning my "menu" on Fridays, going to the store and keeping my list of meals i have ingredietns for…
  • Good for you for resisting that bagel! I am going to workout tonight and possibly run too, but I am really going to try to stay on track tomorrow. Stupid 4th of July cookouts are hard to stay on track!!
  • How about Remedy Drive? I'm suprised nobody has that before now...
  • I got a 16 ounce cup (actually now I have about 6 or 7 of them) and I drink one in the morning at home, 2 while at work for the day and 1-2 in the evenings. I don't drink as many as some people, but to me that's plenty and that's my goal
  • Good luck! I am trying to eat as low carb as possible (maybe not induction levels, but close to it) and do my Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 everyday of July and then run at least 3-4 times a week. July will be my month!! Whoo hoo! And you are right...take it one day at a time
  • I'd go with the fruit skewers and maybe a greek yogurt dip or just whipping cream....
  • I've got the dvd, however, never finished the entire 30 days. I am going to start it again tonight and try to do it every day of July. That's my goal anyway. Add me and maybe we can keep each other motivated and accountable??
  • The plain yogurt is lower carb and you can start with that and some fruit in it once you do incorporate it. Or add some powdered peanut butter. It is gross just plain....def don't try it. It will make you want to vomit
  • I used to do once a week, but I've cut back to once a month. My weight loss has stalled and it just got depressing.
  • Nevermind...I must have deleted them.
  • dust yourself off and restart. I am doing that today, too. However, I binged for over a week. It can be done. Good luck!
  • Ignore the haters. You can use OJ or milk. I have a friend who has done it since the early 90's. She is super healthy and says she will do it forever. She does a shake for breakfast and has 2 other healthy meals. I do not do it myself, but if this is what works for you, more power to you! Everyone does their own thing.…
  • If there were an easier way to post food pics, I'd do it. It's a pain having to use photo bucket. I have some paleo/low carb meals in my pics on my profile page.... Check em out
  • Sugar free salad dressings? Maybe some low carb chocolate bars? I do low carb, but I normally don't worry too much about dressing, sauces, ect.
  • Greek yogurt has been my new thing, however it isn't low carb. It's very good for you, so I don't mind the carbs in it. I also sometimes have cheese and lunchmeat rolled up. Quick and easy. What about left overs from the night before? I have been known to have a pork chop or steak for breakfast  What about…
  • I had a good day yesterday. I have been eating greek yogurt, which is not low carb (by far), but I love it and it is packed with protein. I plan on running tonight and also taking an hour long cardio class. I have not been feeling the best. Darn Illinois weather is nuts and making my allergies go haywire. It's cold one…
  • I am doing that too! No juice for me though. I am just trying to eat cleaner. Good luck! Maybe we can keep each other motivated and on track!
  • Thanks that really helped!
  • Ok, thanks! I have actually been trying to run faster (I am a VERY slow runner) so maybe I'll go back down to my normal pace. Thanks again! I'll try to watch my heart rate more than calories burned on my HRM now
  • Is it because you're hungry or because you just feel like eating? If it's because you're hungry, try eating real food and you won't be as hungry at night. If it's because you're just eating to eat (which I used to do), try to have coffee, iced tea, some drink with you and drink it. I also snack on pickles if I'm having a…
  • I drink it black most days, however, some days I add heavy whipping cream and sugar free coffee syrup. I feel like when I add the stuff it stalls me, but I don't think black coffee hinders any weight loss. I have backed off on the bars for a bit. I feel those stall me for sure!
  • This. Exactly my thinking :)
  • Hard boiled eggs, cheese, the Atkins bars (although they slow some people's loss) and lunch meat rolled up with some cheese are some of my "go to" snacks. I'll add you and you can peek at my diary
  • I would def not have beer! If you must drink, have a diet coke and rum? Tequila? If I drink I always order tequila with a diet something. It's great with Dr. Pepper! We are going to a really fancy event tomorrow and there are desserts and roasted herb butter potatoes  Oreo cake pops is one of the desserts. Lord help…

  • I did a fat fast about 8 months ago and lost 7 pounds! Great way to jump back on board quickly! May do another in another few months...
  • Ever tried Sweet Perfection 0 glycemic index sweetener? Kind of expensive, but oh so worth it. I also eat chocoperfection chocolate bars. So good!!!
  • The whole egg is delish!
  • Have you tried the atkins shakes or bars? Those may be better if you don't like a big, heavy breakfast, as you said.
