I try to find a comparable restaurant chain and food item. I'm not sure where you are, but for example Subway could work as a comparison.

The frustration and joy of the next size down almost fitting...

Stick with the plan, muscle weighs more than fat, you will see results. Healthy slow weight loss is better than extremes, just less satisfying

I'll ping back in, looking for some nerdy/geeky friends to share motivation and talk nerdy to me. In Calgary Alberta. Just was diagnosed with Type II diabetes, so I'm back on MFP for weight loss and carb counting
-
Not so much as a weight loss secret, more so as a replacement for a calorie filled drink. I like dark chocolate chai tea, it has a nice dark flavour to replace an afternoon coffee, but the chai sweetens it. (no added milk or sugar)

Not new here, but I am back to MFP and logging. I'm from Calgatory Canada (Yeeha). All of the nerd groups have gone a bit quiet, looking for some new MFP friends and diversionary conversation during the long day at the office. I've already discussed my superpower, my Kryptonite is now Type II Diabetes and chocolate.

Just diagnosed a month ago, started on Metformin and removed sugar from my diet. I probably should have addressed it much earlier, but took the stupid approach of if it's not diagnosed, I don't have to deal with it. I had success using MFP to lose weight a few years ago, but I thought it would be a good tool to track sugar…

I need to replace my stretched out belts because I'm on the last notch

I've just started William Gibson's The Peripheral, trying to get back into his writing style.

I've been playing a lot of Civ V on my laptop while Playoff Hockey is on. Now that the weather is nice and we're down to 2 series, I can go outside and play again
-
I've just started watching Dark Matter, about 3 episodes in, I like the premise. It has a bit of a Firefly (small crew, limits of the law) vibe to it.

Finally made it to the season finale on my PVR. I'm sure this will be another Flashpoint-like season, Barry will be back, but I could see Kid Flash taking the mantle for a few episodes. (I won't really miss HR)

Ron Perlman makes a better everything, but yes, he would have been a good casting for Cable.
-
King Arthur was fairly good, but I'm a sucker for Guy Richie and Jude Law, I may be developing a man-crush with aging Jude Law. Next week is Alien, let's hope Ridley Scott can avoid another Prometheus

Okay that was fun watching people standing in line with their fake swords, proton packs and Harley Quinn hammers in their civilian clothes. Even met a friend of mine getting her LARP swords checked in.

I had to pack my Henchman 21 Gauntlets in my bag today, so I could have them go through the weapons check and Calgary Expo

Guardians looks good, Thor's trailer was fun, looking forward to that. The Last Jedi trailer didn't excite me yet, but I will be going to see it of course.

Just finished Dragonlance: Sellsword, now I have to find the next two at book sales. Started Dark Tower IV Wizard and Glass, I'm looking forward to some hot weathered some deck time for reading.

Oh 5th element! I still haven't figured out why I like that movie, but I do. No wait, Ruby Rhod. Yep.[/quote] Looking forward to Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The trailers looks like more of the director's awesome visuals.

Because I'm dragging my wife to The Running Man, then possibly The 5th Element tonight
