Filling in my Stephen King gaps and reading The Dead Zone.

Just finished William Gibson's The Peripheral and onto a Dragonlance Anvil of Time novel The Survivors

Reading peoples fandom comments it's interesting to see how MCU has essentially become a genre of it's own. It just feels like it grew organically from a small handful of movies, now it will be a generations Star Wars. I wonder if in 20-30 years middle-aged nerds will be auguring over the Original Cast versus Middle Cast…

The Pokeball image reminds me of the year at my local comic-con there was a flood of girls and women in blue dresses with braided blonde hair. Leading to the game of Daenerys Targaryen or Elsa from Frozen, the clue being whether they had a Dragon theme somewhere or a snowflake theme.

I'm so behind on my PVR, still catching up on all of the spring DC shows. On Netflix I'm watching GLOW, Jessica Jones, Dark Matter, just finished Enterprise and moving on to TOS. Lost in Space and Season 2 of Stranger Things are on my list. Looking forward to Discovery coming back in the fall.

I've read a little Clive Barker, he's not bad. Neil Gaimen is good for more supernatural stories

I’ve really been missing tabletop lately, I’m thinking of finding a campaign group this fall

I agree with Jedi, partially because it’s cool to see Luke as a Jedi Knight in Jabba’s palace and partially for the three story weaving of the climax. I’ve always felt the prequels could have gotten from A to B in a much better story involving Anakin fighting for justice in the Galaxy at a dark cost and his love for Padame…

I just finished Enterprise and moved onto TOS, I’m also listening to a podcast: Star Trek, the Next Conversation and watching TNG episodes along with the hosts.

The very hard way is to cut all sugar, it will take a few weeks to get over the cravings. Recently diagnosed diabetic, I have had to cut sugar and just have sugarless or low sugar treats.
-
As a type 2 Diabetic, I can tell you Carbs are just sugar waiting to happen. But Rice cakes aren't terribly loaded with them compared to many grain/bread products.

Gamer, comic and movie nerd here. It's interesting to see all of the flavours nerds come in now, and aren't afraid to identify ourselves.

A shadowy silhouette? Why not?

Lentil loaf with a poached egg on top and a good dollup of hot sauce.

Sigh.. maybe I’ll just re-watch my DVD

I’m going to be the manager against these two, who wants me to pass the foreign object? You’d both kick my butt
-
You two are going have to take this to Wrestlemania!

Get in the ring.. this is going to be an epic battle, I win

Normally I can breeze through Stephen King books, and I enjoyed the Dark Tower books, but I had a really hard slog getting through this one.

They're making Fanta 0 now? I need to find this.

Damn, that would be a good match, going to give it to you for experience.

I would agree with the previous posters, it's definitely achievable. But you will need to work on comfort on the bike, longer ride will tend to teach you about muscles you never knew existed. My first long ride this spring was a reminder after being off my bike all fall/winter.

I had to cut sugar from my diet, I find diet soda very sweet now. I like to have about 1 a day with lunch or after dinner. I've read mixed stories on the effects of artificial sugar on your system and how your body copes with the false impulses it sends.

I would say yes, but you win on your name alone
