  • i have 2 times when I know I am in danger of binging. One is about 2:30 - 4:30 in the afternoons (long day with 3 kids/stress) the other is after dinner when I am "relaxing"
  • Chips and dip if they are available, I have a hard time only eating a handful - normally it turns into a bagful of chips and at least half a pottle of dip!!! And any bread products, like custard twists, chelsea buns, fresh bread with butter .... Sweet things i can easily stop at a couple but savoury is my weakness.
  • No picture but yesterday (yes I am a day late again!) I had a yummy salmon sushi roll - just nori, rice and raw salmon with a drop of soy sauce and a bit of pickled ginger.
  • it is so hard! if they are good friends I wouldn't be so worried about offending them, just say "I'll bring some ...(insert healthy snack option here) along!" You could also eat a nice healthy snack beforehand so you aren't so hungry. I do understand though as that is always my undoing.
  • You can get REALLLLLLLY supportive sports bras - I am a G cup and mine don't bounce too much when they are in a sports bra. My butt however .... that is a different story!
  • Yes!!! If they ask what is in something (like a casserole, etc) I will tell them exactly what is in it, even if it is something they claim not to like
  • I must admit that I am not as conscious of their healthy eating as I should be, however we don't normally have lollies, or chips, or soft drinks in the house. I do a lot of home baking (which is not necessarily the healthiest but it means I know they are eating actual food and not whatever it is that compaines put in their…
  • Yes. Ew! I loathe celery and have done for as far back as I remember. It is the greenest tasting thing ever. Also green capsicums. They make everything around them taste like green capsicum disgustingness. (All the other colours are ok but i just do not like the green ones!)
  • For me it really is that point when I realise i am just bored or stressed but I still eat too much and feel sick afterwards as it is mostly heavy carbs. (Like chips or cheese sandwiches or custard buns) I also only really do it when nobody else is around so I know it isn't a healthy thing!
  • I am a day late and useless at loading pics as they are mostly on my phone! So in my profile pic I love my hair and how shiny it looks And I love that I look happy (was laughing because my friend put my little boy's very long hair up in pigtails!)
  • Hi, I am joining in! I am a binge eater and have been since my teenage years when things were going wrong all over the place and I would eat and eat and eat to feel better. i have always used food as an emotional crutch and today I cry "no more". I am a SAHM and I eat when i am bored, or stressed (and that happens a LOT…
  • I am seeing it more as getting myself moving in the mornings and getting some exercise into the day too. I don't even know what the results are supposed to be. (Pretty sure I'm not going to be getting any awesome muscle tone until I drop some weight!)
  • Thanks - something to look forward to then, haha. I may have to dig into the pantry for some cans I think. Pretty sure hubby is going to look at me like i am nutso anyway as I will have to do the workouts in the bedroom as Mr 19months gets up at 6 so the lounge will be taken!
  • I am 5'5. Gender: Female Highest weight- 92kg (202 pounds) Current Weight- as above! Lowest weight- 60kg (132 pounds) after severe hyperemesis and the birth of my first baby and I had basically zero body fat I was so sick! So turns out 60kg does NOT look good on me unless I want to look like a walking skeleton Goal weight-…
  • Oh yeah we now shove him into a backpack (haha I don't literally mean we "shove" him but you know) and cart him around and he loves it. Once this summer heat dies down I am planning on doing the 3km round trip to school to pick up the oldest boy in the afternoons (we moved house, now further from our new school) and will…
  • Haha, I hear you on that! When my littlest guy was under a year I would walk down to the school to pick my eldest up and then back up the (very steep!!!!) hill home carrying him in a pouch pack! Hard work!!!!
  • You look amazing! And also much happier, well done on so much hard work!!!!
  • I had to put the scales in the children's bathroom so I actually have to go out of my way to go in and weigh myself. I get that other people use the daily weight for data gathering but for me it is a semi-obsessive thing so I am only weighing once a week now.
  • I am a SAHM of 3 boys aged 7 (nearly 8), 4 and 19 months. The 7 year old is at school, the 4 year old has kindy 5 mornings a week and me and Baby C hang together at home. Would love some more SAHM friends to keep the motivation going! It is far too easy to snack when you are at home all day!!!!
  • I am starting again on Week 1 Day 1 tomorrow morning, I got up to the end of Week 2 a month or so ago but then got sick.
  • Sounds delicious!!!
  • We are currently at the tail end of a very hot, dry summer (with droughts everywhere) so I am really looking forward to Winter!
  • Hi So I am starting tomorrow morning on Day 1. I don't have any weights though, shall I use some cans of food instead? Or maybe water bottles (if I can find 2 the same size anywhere in this house!)
  • Excellent! I have been a member for a while but haven't truely commited myself to doing it - but as my weight slowly creeps up over the years it seems it is time to permanently reduce it! Admittedly I have had 3 children so my body shape is also a bit different to what it was 10 years ago! I am a lazy person by nature…

  • 26 - boy 29 - boy 32 - boy They are now 6, nearly 3, and 2 months. I am still 32 Should add that we are done now, 3 boys is plenty to keep me busy.
  • Hmmmmm I NEEDED chocolate last night so instead of eating a chocolate bar I made myself a Milo. I think that counts as snacking though! Me: 3 LNS:1
  • No exercise for me today. I was fine till about 10:30am then a head cold struck. (thanks kids!) Plus I have been awake since 2am so I'm guessing I'll be asleep by 7:30 tonight!!! Just trying to keep my food on track and my water up.
  • We live in New Zealand where nobody gives a ......hoot...... about how long their neighbour's grass is, how tall their trees are or if their cars go. We don't have any sort of associations for neighborhoods, well as far as I know we don't and we have lived in a few different places. What I do have is a really annoying set…
  • I am hoping to get one today as it's the weekend but I don't have that option during the week. My middle child is home with me and no longer has a nap.
  • Auckland, New Zealand (and it's 4:53am AND I have been awake since 2am due to small children waking followed by insomnia doing it's thing)
