It sounds like your shoes. Did you go to a running store and have them evaluate you? That would be the best thing. YOur feet shouldnt go numb. I have run a half marathon and I never had that problem. Good shoes will make your running much more enjoyable!

I like Michelob Ultra. Its only 95 calories and low on carbs. I also like Pinot Grigiot. Its about 100 calories for 5 oz. Have fun!

I "cheat" on Friday night and Saturday night. I like to have a few beers on Friday and Sat night and then like to snack after. Mostly I still come in right around what my daily goal is, sometimes I go over a little but I also make it up during the week by eating fewer calories.

Im confused about weighing rice, If I cook a cup of raw rice it turns into a lot more than a cup of cooked, so when I weigh it out to eat I measure out a cup cooked. I cant imagine eating all the rice that came from 1 cup of raw rice.

When I was running I always did early morning runs but never ate before. I can't eat before I run or I feel nauseous. The only time I ate before a run was on Sat morning when I did over 5 miles. I just make sure I have some water before and after and have breakfast after I get home.

I have the weight watchers scale and it has never worked right. Very frustrating ,especially when you spend so much money. I ended up buying a cheaper digital scale and it seems to work fine.

Personally I need a rest day. I need it to repair my muscles from working out pretty hard, especially as I have gotten older. I know some people don't take rest days and that works for them. Do whatever you body is telling you to do.

I was a pack and a half a day smoker. When I decided to change my lifestyle I started running. I such problems breathing( for obvious reasons) I ordered the e-cig and quit immediately. I have been smoking the e-cigs for over a year. If I can do it, anyone can. I was so addicted to cigarettes. Good luck!

I dont think so, I would just not add your exercise or just look at the calories consumed instead of total calories. That's what I do,

Extreme shed and shred is 2 levels, which she says you should do together to make it an hour workout. Level 1 is okay- it incorporates a lot of different things, I dont think its that hard. Level 2 is crazy. A lot of hard moves and she asks you to do them one armed or on one leg. Definitely more extreme than level 1.

I do the same!

I also have exercise induced asthma. Running in humidity is much harder but just make sure you use your inhaler before you run or exercise. I ran many races and was fine. If you are just starting just try to slow your pace a bit, and concentrate on your breathing. Good luck.

I weigh myself once a week, Friday am before eating or exercising. Your weight can vary from day to day and hour to hour just from water weight. I would pick one day of the week and keep it consistant.

I don't think 1200 calories is too low to do Bootcamp. It is intense but just pick and choose wisely what you eat to fuel your body. Good luck!

There is one thing I learned when I started running. Never compare yourself to anyone else. There will always be someone better, faster, stronger. My goal is always to beat my best time and it feels incredible. You will never be happy with yourself if you compare yourself to anyone, your husband, your friends. Keep up the…

Personally I can't eat right before I workout, it makes me nauseous. If you are okay with it then I would go ahead and eat but I wouldnt eat something heavy such as pasta.

I agree, too much pasta is not good for you, I wouldnt cut it out completely but have it maybe 1x a week. I have to eat low carb to lose weight. I do eat some carbs but it's Whole grain. Also having a piece of fruit is okay but for breakfast I would eat some protein and a small carb. Fruit is good for you but it also has a…

I am usually pretty sore, I feel your pain. I run and I also do Crossfit style workouts and other classes. So yes, I work through the soreness, but also remember that taking arest day is just important as working out hard. Good luck!

When I started a year and half ago my goal was to run a 5k before I turned 40, so I started the couch to 5k. Between that and eating right I lost a lot of weight and accomplished my goal. I then started classes at my gym to gain muscle. Any exercize regime you choose is s going to be hard but just know you can do it!
