I'm 5'3'' and I've been working on loosing weight for the last four years. I started at 220 lbs. and I'm down to 152 lbs. this morning.

We have very similar stories. I started out at 220 lbs. and got down to 156 lbs. before getting pregnant. I'm currently trying to gain weight steadily and healthfully. I'm planning on getting down to 120 lbs. after my pregnancy. You look great! Very inspiring. :)

I used to think this was true for myself as well. However, that was because I never gave exercise long enough to work. The salads in restaurants taste better because the greens are fresher and have cut and cleaned with water very recently. I like putting corn and guacamole on my salads. :)

It's not cheating. A lot of weight loss/fitness experts like Jillian Michaels (in her book Winning by Losing) even suggest that you vary calories different days to meet a weekly calorie goal.

Absolutely not. My body is used to doing that work, so I don't log it. Further, even though we get busy sometimes, the pace that I go at (which is faster than a normal person walking around) doesn't even come close to a fat burning pace.

I've got to work at the restaurant all day, so I can't eat lunch which means I have to load up on breakfast. So, I had a cup of strawberries, an orange, two large cage-free eggs, two slices of double fiber wheat toast, two glasses of skim milk, and two glasses of water.

I've found that it doesn't matter so much how many carbs you eat as what kind they are. If you're going over because of bread, pasta, chocolate, chips, and other indulgences, I would cut some stuff. But if going over is only due to fruits and vegetables and so forth, I'd completely ignore it.
