How do you make it? Do you use butter? I love grilled cheese, but to make it good, it always is more than 200 calories.

Popcorn. I'm always so happy to see how much popcorn I can have for my evening snack.

I had twins last January and gained 37 pounds. They turned one yesterday and I am at my pre-pregnancy weight without much effort, but I was about 35 pounds overweight to begin with, so now I'm working on losing that.

Yes, this is me, too. When I'm tired grilled chicken and salad don't appeal to me at all, all I want to do is eat crunchy carbs.

I mostly still eat what I want in smaller quantities to fit my calorie goal. But I have found that some things I used to eat, like pasta dishes, some desserts, and some restaurant meals don't fit so easily into my calories, so I have them less often or not at all.

I do the same thing for most things. I weigh out a portion size, and log it as that portion size. So it probably doesn't look like I weigh my food, but I actually do.

This is really good! If I overspend on something, I am always adamant about finding ways to save in other areas to get my budget back on track. Why is it so much harder with food? I am definitely going to try to think of it like this from now on.

I park almost a mile from my building and walk to and from work (sometimes only from, depending on weather). I walk laps of my floor, trying to do at least two in the morning and two in the afternoon. And I walk at lunch, usually about two miles. That usually gets me close to 10,000 before my work day is over. I walk at…

Interesting, that could be it. Mine is iOS. That would make sense that it's just a difference in the app for one versus the other. I will keep an eye on it. I'm in a FB challenge group where we post our steps and that's how I noticed the difference, but I haven't been paying attention to iOS vs. Android. Thanks!!

I have been buying ice cream treats in their mini versions. Blue Bunny mini swirl cones - 140 calories Mini Drumsticks - 130 calories (I think) Snack size Snickers ice cream bars - 90 calories Blue Bunny Orange Dream bars - 70 calories. Sometimes I buy Edy's Slow Churned, or really any regular ice cream, as it's not that…

I have lost 20 since Thanksgiving. Aside from the holidays, I find it easier to lose or at least maintain in winter because there is nothing going on. Summer is full of social events, cookouts, parties, baseball games, weekend trips.

Do you take any medication for migraines? I crave caffeine and salty foods when they strike, but Imitrex and Maxalt changed my life. I take which ever one I have on hand and it usually knocks out the migraine within an hour or so, if I take it right away.

I'm 33. I have lost about 20 pounds, but still want to lose 25 more. Feel free to add me!

You could also order a cheap screwdriver and the batteries on Amazon. As a college student, you should qualify for a free Prime membership so you can get free two-day shipping.

I second that! I don't post as much as I would like to, but this group has helped me stay motivated. I love tracking my progress in the spreadsheet and seeing everyone else's progress as well. When does the next edition start?

Made it to the end of this thread and I'm sad that this was never answered.

This was my problem, too. I had MFP set to lose 1 pound per week, but Fitbit set to have a 1,000 calorie deficit. If they are set the same, the numbers should be pretty close if you have your Fitbit linked to MFP. ETA: I was coming back to add that they should be pretty close at the END of your day. But the above poster…

I'm going to set my goal at 5 pounds. I would love to lose 6-7 but I will be happy with 5.

Hi, I'm Shannon. My overall goal is to lose 45 pounds and I have lost 19 so far. My inspiration aside from just generally looking and feeling better is my sister's wedding in October. With about 25 pounds to go, I am going to aim for a 5-6 pound loss in April.

That's my problem, too. Sure, there's candy that is lower on my list of favorites, but I can't think of any that I hate enough to not eat it if it was all I had.

Blue Bunny mini swirl chocolate ice cream cone - 140 calories Blue Bunny orange dream bar - 70 calories I have one of the above pretty much every night - sometimes one of each. Also Arnold's sandwich thin with 1 T peanut butter - 195 calories. Sometimes I only use one half of the sandwich thin but the same amount of peanut…

I'd like to do this. Are you going to start a group or are we just going to check in here? Sorry if this was already explained, I didn't read all five pages of replies.

This is the one I've used: scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

I don't think the OP is talking about people who confess to not logging every single thing every day. But there were a lot of people who said something along the lines of, "I ate an entire box/bag/gallon of <insert "bad" food> and didn't log it." Or, "If I know I'm going over my calorie goal, I stop logging for the day." I…

I work in a large building, so anytime I get up to get water or use the restroom, I take the long way around my floor to get in extra steps. I also walk at lunch every day. If I can't get outside because of the weather, I walk downstairs and through the lobby/food court area of my building a few times. If you don't work in…

I think tracking helps with this mindset. Instead of letting one mistake ruin my day, I am able to look at the numbers and figure out how to make it work, which usually results in making better choices or cutting back for the rest of the day, or doing some extra activity to get some calories back.

Potatoes. With all the hate white potatoes get from some people, I assumed they were high-calorie and something I should avoid. But we have roasted red potatoes as a side fairly often, and they aren't nearly as "bad" as I originally thought.

I've been reading this thread over the last few days and I can't believe how few people have commented on this. I can't stop thinking about it, I think this is the worst confession in this thread, haha. I actually feel sick thinking about it. No judgement, just nausea ;)

This is me. But we buy individually wrapped frozen chicken breasts that are 4 oz. each and I actually DO weigh them, they are all within 0.5 oz of 4 oz. so I usually just leave it as 4 oz. because I'm lazy and I use the bar code scanner. My confession is that it's 10:30 a.m. and I've already eaten all of my snacks that I…

Greek yogurt with the protein granola mixed in. I've also seen a lot of people say they mix protein powder in, but I haven't tried that.
