Feels like another cash grab to me. You used to be able to scan labels for food. Now, you have to pay for premium for it. I refuse to reward a company for its greed, so I refuse to pay for premium.

That may be it. I did go out for mexican food one night, but usually it doesn't throw me off this back. Also, it's been in the 90s here lately. Perhaps that has a lot to do with it too. I will just keep better track of my sodium and try to drink more water now. Thanks for the advice everyone!

From my own personal experience, less to no fruit (especially bananas which are super high carb for a fruit, stick to citrus if you absolutely crave fruit) and no tomatos and more leafy greens. Just dive in! I've been Paleo for almost 9 months and I still learn something everyday! You will get addicted to learning new things. It's definitely about the journey and not the destination. but it's the best decision I ever made in my life. I feel a million times better. Good luck. :)

I am not going to get into why cutting out meat is a bad bad BAD idea, but it certainly is. Especially, since you are probably overdosing on carbs. Yes I do use a heart monitor and I make sure to eat all of my exercise calories back. I got a gym pass and swam one day instead of running. I also forgot to add that I even started watching my sodium and increased my potassium. So even though there is some water weight still I'm certain I know that my failure cannot be even half due to water retention.

From what others have said as well, It seems that if you go too much over your alotted amount on sodium that your body will retain more water weight and can cause you to feel bloated and can even make your weight go up on the scale. I wasn't happy to learn of this being a salt lover myself.
