finished week 4 Day 2 today. I was kinda surprised I made it through the 5 minute running intervals but I feel great! Five weeks ago I certainly coudl not have done it. My problem is I have a tendency to be a little impatient but with this patience really pays off.

I have lost 16 pounds without a gym membership. I do have a treadmill at home which was great when it was really cold outside but now that it is warmer here I will be walking/running outside. How fast did you walk/run to begin with? I am on week 2 day 2 but taking it kinda slow..my jogging is only about 4 mph and walk at about 3.5. I am sticking with the plan of rest day between runs but it is actually pretty tough taking a day off. What do you all do on your rest days..do you do soemthing else to be active?

Hi. I'm Nicole.Today is my 31st birthday and I am so happy to be on week 1 day 2 of the C25K running program. I am a reporter and wife of 7 years with a 2 and 6 year old. I live in rural NC and look forward to being as active as I was before marriage, kids and crazy work schedule.
