Thank you everyone!!! I really do appreciate all of your help and suggestions. I will try them all and see what helps. I started taking the supplements yesterday so after a few weeks we'll see how they work. If that doesn't work then I about the temp meds to get it back down. I will continue to work 1 hour per day like I…

I lost my brother last August in a very violent accident. He was only 31 and it hit me harder than I thought possible, I've tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to be able to lessen the effects of extreme grief. I've been focusing all my energy on work and my health because that seems to help me get through my…

Thank you, it is the right size.

I monitor my bp at home with my arm cuff and I walk 5 days a week. I think I am going to try a hawthorn gold supplement and see if it helps because I refuse to go on medication and start that cycle. Thank you both for your help, I appreciate it.

Yes 5 days a week for 1 hour, I don't want to do anything more strenuous because I don't want to pass out litterally.

My starting weight was 218 and I'm down to 184 but for the life of me I can't figure out why my pressure is so high all of a sudden. It used to be 100/79 steadily most of my adult life and now it reads 120/119 and I have low grade headaches all day. It's scaring me and my doctor is about to put me on medication, the one…

You guys are awesome!

I'm sorry but I don't understand this. Can you explain because I don't know how many pounds of lean body weight I have to be able to calculate how much protein I need. I bumped my macros to 70/25/5 so I am getting 5% more protein than before but still not sure if that is enough. Like today I am at 86g of protein.
-
Anyone??
-
I feel the same way!
-
Has your cholesterol gone up since you started? The bad cholesterol that is.

Oh wow, I'm sorry to see this. Glad you realized it before it did more damage. I would say exercise to build up your metabolism but you can't really do it. I'd love to see what others say.

Because regardless of where the carbs/sugar come from, they cause spikes in insulin and that is what causes your body to store fat. Even if something is healthy, it doesn't mean it can't cause problems when trying to lose weight.
-
Man, if I could get this to work on my iPad that would be awesome! My I do get the pie graph with the percentages but they aren't correct because of the net carbs.

The cost of the meter is not the problem. The strips are what cause many not to buy the meters. That is one reason I haven't bought one. It's just to expensive to keep up with the strips. I'll stick to my Keto sticks, they haven't failed me yet and I am doing great with my loss. If you can afford the meter and strips then…

I had a body scans to test mine. Mine was covered by my insurance but they are expensive but very much needed. By the time I had my last child I was carrying so much visceral fat. It was so scary. So glad it's moving in the right direction now. May not be much smaller but I am healthier than I was.

Glad I posted it as well because it is a reminder that all of our hard work is paying off even if we can't see it just yet.

I stopped myself because after I realized what I was doing I was overwhelmed by pure fear lol. I won't go back again. I did actually make my own coconut chocolate afew days ago. It is good enough to take the edge off but I will be staying away from it until my body is well adjusted back into Keto.

I learned my lesson for sure! I will not go down that road again! Thank you! I know they say carbs are addictive but OMG I had no idea how serious it was until that Sunday night. Thanks again!

You can do it! It's the only thing that has worked 100% and consistently week after week. On average I lose 4-5 lbs per week eating around 1200 calories but 75% is from fat. Your gonna do great!
-
Aww I'm sorry to hear, hopefully your changes will help but if not it may not be for you. I do get that feeling from time to time but it is usually when I go over board with the fat at a specific meal. Instead of piling it all on in one meal try getting your fats in by splitting up the amounts through out the day. That has…
-
Yeah yeah, I knew it! I saw you dropped a pound also, which is awesome because you we're saying the scale hadn't moved since you started. Keep going!
-
I am, started a few weeks ago.
-
You can add me if you like. I do manage to get my fat to 75% pretty much every day. A today it's a little off because of the extra fiber but otherwise I keep my macros pretty strict. My diary is open.
-
Wow thank you, that explained it perfectly!
-
Anyone know the answer to this?

Ok thanks everyone!
