Thank you so much for all the replies. I am taking in quite a bit of sodium. The major downfall I have found on Atkins is that really truly sticking to it, limits some of the snacks you can eat and it usually is loaded with sodium. I haven't measured with a tape and I think that is something I should start doing. Thank you…

I record everything here and I am sticking with MFP calorie limit of 1300. So maybe I shouldn't be doing both?

went out last night to a casino and a concert and I noticed a few nods in my direction. First time that's happened in a long time. I feel great. Despite my having a few chips and salsa, I stayed on track.

Hello. I am Shawnee/Cherokee and Irish. I started out Jan first of this year at 232 pounds. I barrel race and THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I have been on the Atkins plan and now I am 205. I have much more to go but its a journey worth taking. ok...sorry..pics not working

I needed this thread today. The scale is up two pounds this morning and the only thing I did wrong was a handful of chips, one bite of cake and lots of rum and diet cokes...lol. Ok.... time to be good again.

I am on the atkins diet. I eat up to 1500 cals a day and stay at or around 20 gm of carb. If you try this for the first two weeks you should see a big difference. There is a atkins site that has a lot of great information in it. It sounds hard as heck to stay at 20 gm but Im totally used to It now and really don't miss it.…

I am a barrel racer by hobby. My gut no longer touches the saddle horn. That is a big deal to a barrel racer. Those horns can leave nasty bruises.
