I hate that the newsfeed has gone! I liked to see how my friends and family were doing. I liked to see how many days I have been logging, weight loss, etc. it kind of feels lonely now. What’s the point? Shall be looking at other apps now. MFP, you’ve made a huge mistake!!

I feel completely cut off without the Newsfeed! What a dumb a*se decision to remove it!!
-
Me too! It’s awful! I can’t see how my friends are doing! They say it was rarely used, that’s bullsh*t!
-
Thank you both!
-
Mine is okay today. Hope all yours are too.
-
I have my goal set to lose.
-
Thank you so much. It all makes sense and is very helpful. I will stick with the lower figure and see how that goes.
-
I walk on level 4 or 5.
-
I only want to lose another 7lbs at the most. I walk on my treadmill every day x3 times @ 21 minutes each time.
-
Where is the reports tab?
-
Excellent advice, thank you. I find the exercise bike really boring, even while having the tv on. But I do enjoy walking. For me, it’s not only about the calories. I broke my hip 20 months ago and consequently had a hip replacement. So it is also about keeping moving and keeping fit.
-
I get what you’re saying. Thank you 👍🏻
-
Aah yes, I understand what you’re saying. I also have an exercise bike which I know longer use since I bought my treadmill. Would that be more beneficial?
-
I never thought of it like that. Thank you 👍🏻

‘Walking more will burn a little more, but walking isn't a huge calorie burner.’ I have to disagree with the above comment. Since purchasing a treadmill (on which I walk, not run) it has helped with my weight loss. Just saying….
-
Thank you 👍🏻

Many thanks all. I don't recall setting a manual goal, but will take a look. I am syncing with MFP and will amend this.

I do one or two days per week fasting (LighterLife) around 550 calories. The rest of the week I have 1200 calories per day. Unless there is a social occasion and I go over the 1200, so hopefully the fasting days counteract that. It's worked for me so far.
-
I do try to have one or two fast days (650 calories) per week. Not every week, but more so when I have a social occasion at the weekend.
-
This is the total that MFP set me. I think I set as a 1lb per week loss.
-
Oh I wouldn't, lol. Thank you Tavistock Toad :)
-
True, thanks tinkerbellang83.
-
Thanks for the advice about Fybogel. I will try that. Must admit I don't eat enough fruit, veg or fibre. But never have done. Have been logging in for three months now. The past two weeks have been drinking much more water.
-
Absolutely nothing. Complete mystery.
-
WHAT??!!
-
Thank you, that makes sense

Rubbish that you need to eat breakfast. Everyone is different. I don't eat breakfast, I am not hungry in the mornings and like the poster, I appreciate my extra points in the evening. If I eat early in the day, it seems to give me more of an appetite and so I want to eat more.
-
Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, apparently. Honestly, no need to be horrid to people! Everybody is different - each to their own.
-
I would like to know this too. I missed one day and it put me back to zero!

Lol
