Weight loss not showing
Whenever I log a weight loss, it doesn’t show up on my timeline. It used to, but gas suddenly stopped. Yes, I am clicking on the tick.

Logging exercise
I am retired and healthy. Apart from normal day to day activities ie housework, etc, I also walk for an hour most days on my treadmill (4/10 incline and pace set at 4.80). And normally manage to record over 10k steps per day. Should I put myself down as being active or lightly active?

Treadmill Walking
I walk in my treadmill for about an hour every day (though I split it x3 times for 21 minutes each time). My treadmill clocks 130 calories for each 21 minutes. Whereas MFP gives me 99 calories. I guess the app is giving me fewer, for just a straightforward level walk. And guessing my treadmill is higher because it takes…

Carry over calories?
Yesterday I ate 360 under my calorie goal. My daily goal is 1200 + 240 exercise calories = 1440. But I only ate 1080. Could I eat all those 360 calories today? Or even half today and half tomorrow?

Raw or cooked?
For example, the calories given for a jacket potato, are they for a raw or cooked potato? So do I weigh before or after cooking?

Calories never change....
No matter how many steps/exercise I do, the amount of calories I am allowed on my FitBit app stays at 1262. Why is this?

Days Logging
I managed to log for 200 consecutive days, but then missed two days as I was away, but logged for those two days when I got back. Now it shows me as starting again. Really annoying. Any way I can rectify this and get my 205 days back?

Not syncing with Fitbit
All of a sudden MFP and Fitbit aren't syncing. Do I have to unstall both apps and reinstall?

Spreading calories over the week
I am on 1200 calories per day. If I feel like eating less one day, but more on another day during the same week, will this still be productive in losing weight? i.e. as long as I am still on 8400 calories per week.

Constipated
I have gone from being absolutely regular (once a day) to not remembering the last time I 'went'. Last night I had real licquorice, syrup of figs and black coffee. All to no avail. Obviously this is why my weight isn't changing. Any suggestions to how I can get 'moving' regularly again?

What should your nutritional pie chart look like?
Should the carbohydrates, fat and protein be of equal amounts?

Logging my walk
'Map My Walk' on my phone recorded my walk today at 5.42 mph. I would say I walked at a relatively brisk pace. Yet, on here it says 4.5 mph is a very very brisk pace. Unsure how to log it now. Should I log it as 5 mph?

Don't count salad
I count fruit and vegetables, but have never counted salad ingredients, i.e. lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, celery. Works for me. Anyone else do the same?

Water or milk with protein shakes?
Which is best, do you think?

I am struggling today
Have been good this week, but then last night after logging everything I went a bit mad with the chocolate chip cookies and a stick of rock :noway: I have a lot going on this year, socially, to motivate me to keep going. I am happy with my figure right now, but just want to lose a few more lbs to be on the safe side. But…

How do I change my daily calorie goal?
I've upped my calories on my phone app to 1400, but it's still saying 1200 on the computer. And I have logged out and back in.

Anyone else tried the 5/2?
I started this last week (5 days eating healthily and two days - not consecutive - eating 500 calories). Have very surprisingly found the 500 days fairly easy and equally surprising not Hank Marvin the next day. I am only doing this for another two weeks, as I have a lovely new outfit for my son's wedding that I want to…

This site certainly goes down a lot for maintenance. It was off for what seemed ages this afternoon - very frustrating when you can't log in.

Toning Arms
Okay this is probably daft, but can using the exercise bike tone your arms? I looked at the top of my arms this morning at they looked slightly toned. Maybe it's wishful thinking, lol. I do an average of 30 minutes per day (10 minutes at a time x 3).

MapMyFitness App
I used this app on my iPhone for the first time today. I walked into town in my lunch hour. It recorded that I walked 217 paces per minute, walking for 38.57 minutes and that I earned 126 calories. However, if I type in my exercise on here, 38 minutes at a slow pace, it gives me 97 calories. There is quite a discrepancy on…

Okay to use spare calories?
Okay, so Monday I had 250 calories to spare, Tuesday 156, total of 406. But yesterday I went over by 292. If I take the total of calories over the three days, i.e. 406 minus 292, I am still under by 114 calories. Will this have much effect overall on the week? PS - Never done this before, but as I was over last night, I…

Eating less confusion
Okay I hear everyone saying that eating below your calorie allowance isn't beneficial for weight loss. I had major surgery seven months ago and was off work for over four months. My painkillers had a bad effect, i.e. nausea and complete loss of appetite. At first I thought good, will help me to lose a bit of weight.…

Exercise Calorise
I have a computer on my elliptical/stationary bike, which tells me I burn an average of 450 calories for every 15 minutes I do (and I do this three times a day normally). However, when I enter 45 minutes into here, it only gives me 311 carlories! Can anyone explain this please?
