Logging my walk

'Map My Walk' on my phone recorded my walk today at 5.42 mph. I would say I walked at a relatively brisk pace. Yet, on here it says 4.5 mph is a very very brisk pace. Unsure how to log it now. Should I log it as 5 mph?

I sometimes find that my MapMyRun app has my pace slightly ahead because it has me going farther than I actually am (I've run three races, and I know for sure on 2 it gave me a slightly longer distance in the same time than the course, I can't remember on the 3rd.) 5.42mph would be running for me, so that seems a bit high, imho. Hell, 4.5 is actually a really, really fast walk/almost jog for me (5'4.75", with long legs, here). 5.42 is an 11 minute mile, which is a pace I regularly run at, so unless you're really tall with long legs, I'd say that was off.

Thought it must be, lol. Thanks Jen. I think it will be safe to log it as a leisurely pace

I just compare the time and calories burned and find what speed is closest to my numbers. May not be accurate but it works for me.
