Yeah, myself actually, not really a male thing though is it lol

Thanks
-
This is exactly how I started off!
-
I don't want to put any fat back on though when trying to build muscle
-
This is what my next plan is, finish getting my weight down then start to concentrate on building muscle instead of trying to lose weight.

Thanks! and i'm 152.2 lbs at the moment, that topic is old!

More protein the better!, best thing to have when trying to lose weight as it stops you losing muscle tone when losing weight and also builds muscle definition and also repairs muscles after exercise. I try and keep my daily protein to a minimum of 100g, higher the better as long as you keep the fat low and stay within…

Oh! I feel honored! :blushing:
-
So according to my calculations I would burn 8 calories! woohoo!
-
Thank you for the kind words! Your doing fantastic too and is why I said don't change what your doing as its clearly working! If I would have listened to some of the "advice" I was given I would still be trying to lose my first 10lbs now, but doing my own thing (which works perfectly for me) i'm now 120lbs lighter and in…

Must be magic!
-
Exactly! the number of calories to maintain is completely different for everyone, mine may sound low but it works for me perfectly and that's all what matters!
-
LOL, nice how you try and twist pretty much everything when someone questions you, I've noticed you doing this in many topics on this site. Rather than worrying about me and my "terribly slow metabolism" (lol) maybe you should concentrate more on the "advice" you throw around these forums, while some of is very informative…

^THIS!!!! totally agree!
-
Lmao...... Back to OP, your doing GREAT, if you feel ok and are losing the weight do NOT change what your doing, some "advice" given in this thread is shocking, luckily its the minority! do what YOUR happy doing! 1,200 calories a day was my main daily goal and I lost 120lbs doing so, no ill effects, lots of energy and feel…

^Totally agree with this advice
-
Ha, thanks! :drinker:
-
How you Doing?!?

I'm seriously surprised how many people weigh themselves EVERYDAY! that isn't good, honestly! The average persons weight can go up and down by over 7lbs in a typical day (fluid intake/use, food intake/use etc), weigh yourself in the morning then at night to see a perfect example! Weighing weekly at most!, every two weeks…

Well done superman :drinker:
-
Every two weeks for me at the same time, weekly is ok too but any more than that and you will see too many fluctuations on a day to day basis and that is just asking for trouble!
-
I feel the same as you but its been Sunday, Monday and today, aching like mad all over, Think I must be coming down with something as feeling pretty rubbish! I'll still take the dog out as normal but that's my limit until I feel better
-
^ Totally agree. This thread is rather funny seeing a few people trying to convince themselves that everyone else is wrong when they are only telling you how it is, truth hurts sometimes.... Fact is this, your overweight because you ate too much, simple as that, I've been there and lost the weight and I'm not ashamed to…
-
Aww thanks but I think you may need your glasses checked?! :blushing:
-
It is quite funny actually as even a few neighbors stop me and ask how much weight I've lost now! the only annoying thing is when family come to visit some of them do keep saying not to lose too much, they even said this when I was 17 stone  Just a shame my confidence isn't getting much better though, I thought my…

So true! when I was over 270lbs every doctor blamed my weight and lack of exercise, now 122lbs lost and they can no longer blame my weight yet my back still hurts even with all the exercise I do every day, now I am meant to just put up with the pain like its "normal"
-
It is a nitemare having back problems, the constant pain no matter what you do to try and help it, having to take pain killers (tramadol slow release 300mg every 12 hours in my case) non stop getting addicted to them because you take them so often for the constant pain, not good! Wouldn't wish it on anyone :frown:

Hey, I said i'm usually the last person to judge others, It may be different for you as you are bed ridden but when I tried having higher carbs on a daily basis (like what you recommend) things started going very wrong for me very quickly, constantly hungry, blood sugar spikes/drops, feeling bloated/sluggish, lack of…
