I don't know what you should weigh, but awesome job on the weight loss!0

I'm not an expert, but that sounds about right to me - and I think more importantly, if you feel good, healthy, comfortable in your body, etc., then the exact number isn't as important : ) Congrats on the loss!0

you really have to judge where you feel good but I like the met life charts. http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/met.htm
And Wow on the loss!!! Wow!!!0 -
Congrats on the weightloss! That is amazing! And, I'd say 163 for 5'10" is pretty darn good.0

I think it is more of a personal choice. I've seen people try to lose that last 5 pounds and end up very sick. I want to be healthy. My doctor, my husband and I, are all happy with my current weight. I was originally 314 lbs. I now weigh 194, I'm 5' 8" . The BMI charts tell me to be 140-160, but I think that might be too much. Right now I am concentrating on changing my habits. Trying to choose nutrician and exercise. I don't really care what the scale says. The scale doesn't tell the whole picture.0

I went to the tools tab and clicked bmi calculator. I took the highest number minus the low number of the healthy range and added that to the low weight which gave me the middle number. Also if you Google "how much should I weigh" a bunch of calculators will come up and some can compare you to others your she and what percentile you fall in.0

You should weigh whatever you weigh at a place where you're happy with how your body looks, *and* your body is happy with the amount of food required to maintain that weight.0

Start packing on some muscle! 160 with muscle would be great. My husband is 5'9" and 160 is good for him.0

I've decided to go ahead and start building even though I'm not quite at my goal yet (although you've come a LOT farther than I have, awesome!). I figured I'll "bulk" over the winter (sweaters are great) and try to lose again come spring.0 -

From what I've read I think it's unavoidable. But "normal" is 0.3lbs of fat per pound of muscle. So if I put on 3lbs of muscle in 6 months (a good goal for a woman), I'll only put on 1lb of fat, which is easy to lose.0
