  • I eat a well balanced diet, then I have no need for "supplements"
  • As Yoda says, " Do or do not, there is no try" Lots of info here, just read through, but it took time to get big, it will take just as long to get smaller too, there is no rushing or shortcuts

  • Welcome back, always a good time to recommit
  • 90 minutes of snow removal with the shovel and snow blower. Why do I live up here anyway......stupid snow
  • Excellent job, well done
  • MMmmmmm radioactive food is some of the best. Technically, all food is slightly radioactive. This is because all food and other organic molecules contain carbon, which naturally exists as a mixture of isotopes, including radioactive carbon-14. That's the basis for carbon dating, used to identify the age of fossils.…
  • Start slow, walk. then walk further. Repeat. Increase distances and speed as your weight reduces and your fitness increases. If you can walk fast, then try jogging slowly. It will get easier with time. I suggest a yellow Labrador as a running companion too. They are great motivators. Once they figure out the routine, mine…
  • 2 eggs, 2 toast, 1 oz of cheddar cheese, some HP sauce. If available, a couple slices of bacon or a sausage patty. Throw in a large cup of coffee and i'm good until lunch, and I still lose weight
  • Well done all, I started keeping track back in Feb 2013, And I am only 5 days away from 365 days continuous days recorded. I see my Dr. tomorrow to see what my current weight is, last weight was 293 but I know I am down at least another 5 lbs. I started at about 375 ish and my first offical weight was 368 lbs. I am down…
  • Well done, I had to quit 4-5 times before I actually stayed quit. and that was in 1999. It can be done, as you have found. Good luck with the future.
  • Take up running ... after a good long run, there is nothing better than a cold, carbonated, barley based recovery beverage to restore lost fluids and electrolytes ...at least that's what I keep telling my wife
  • A couple days late, but hey, you survived another trip around the sun, so that's a good thing. Happy birthday and Blue Sky's
  • Just stay off the site for 24 hours, that resets the counter. unles you logged in to check your message replies, then the counter will go up again. But it is only 1 day, I don't know if I would be stressed by that, I am more frustrated buy the fact I missed logging in for one day 316 days ago, I would have had over a year…
  • Good luck with both efforts, though I think quitting smoking for me was harder then actually losing weight. I managed to lose weight with only one serious attempt. I had to quit smoking 3 times before I stayed quit. But it can be done and I am sure you can do it too.
  • Is it worth it to try? Hell yea! Walk, jog, whatever... there will be crazy sprinter people, and those who can barely walk. Just go. We all started somewhere, You may even decide it was fun.
  • There is only one artist to listen too....... One name for all occasions........ Barry Manilow Actually I like Jog.fm too. I can pick my desired beat range and then see what songs I have already that are in the speed range i want. I have such a variety of music I listen too, depending on my mood.
  • Several reasons for me. One, so I can fit my butt into those tiny airplane seats as I have a 25th anniversary cruise in June and I have to fly across the Atlantic twice. Second, because my yellow Lab insists on going for runs each day and she is much happier when we run, which I can do now without my knees hurting and…
  • Great positive story. Congratulations. Just goes to show you don't need surgery, drugs or anything other than a positive attitude, the desire to change and the effort to make it happen. So right in the slow and steady approach. it took time to get there, it will take time to go. I too am taking it slow and making the…
  • Well Done and welcome to the 200 club. Nice to have you join us today. Keep it going
  • I have never been a big drinker, but I do enjoy the occasional barley based carbonated and refrigerated recovery beverage on occasion. But I limit myself to one.
  • MMmmmmmmm Bacon

  • I toys? Pahhh sorry I will take a real, secure work phone over anything made by the original fruit company. And androids are not that special either. But each have their own opinion, and it is my victory to celibrate as i wish.
  • Got to find out what the results are.
  • Just wondering what "added crap" you think your finding in pasteurized milk? Other than some added vitamin A and D,There is nothing added to regular cow milk. Not like all the soy and Almond and Flax and Rice "milks" I will take natural cow milk any day or night over the processed other stuff
  • Very true.the flu is not the only illness out there, though that's what this "group" is supposedly about, not the whole "evil Vaccination" theory. What other serious illnesses are there, the the elderly are carriers of and transmitting to those who work with them? Guess those who work with the elderly need to be careful of…
  • Interesting read, especially if you read it all through and don't just Cherry Pick the big scary stat out of context. The study was based on a survey of 2,697 children and adults by the U.S. Influenza Vaccine Effectiveness Network from Dec. 3, 2012, through Jan. 19, 2013. I suppose that's as current as they get with stats,…
  • Woooo scary list, I wouldn't sign that and I don't think any smart person would sign it either. I really doubt any Doctor, a real medical or Naturopath would sign it for any reason. http://whatstheharm.net/naturopathy.html I'm surprised they didn't include DiHydrogen Monoxide in the list, after all the deaths, injuries and…
  • If Doctors are mis-educated about vaccinations, do you group all Doctors the same? Or only those who you do not agree with? And if all Doctors are mis-educated, then who do you listen to? Of course you call the one's who graduated last in their class Doctor too, Maybe they are the ones telling you about the "dangers" of…
