  • 5'11'' CW: 150 GW: 140-145 And I agree with others; it takes a looong time to drop a pants size! Although this might work in my favor, because I don't really like to shop!
  • I bring the same lunch to work everyday: PB&J and salad with baby spring mix, greek yogurt-based dressing, shredded cheese, and sliced almonds.
  • Breastmilk contains 20 calories per oz. If your baby has a 5oz bottle of pumped breastmilk, that's 100 calories right there. It can add up considering that a lot of babies eat every 2.5-3 hours. I have recently weaned, but when my baby was 4-5 months old and only consuming breastmilk, he ate 30oz a day. That's 600 calories…
  • I've tried Mocha Chip and Lemon Cake. Still trying to get my hands on Birthday Cake. Halo Top makes eating ice cream out of a pint before bed a reality for me, so I'm a fan.
  • I still need to try baked tofu! I primarily use protein powder and greek yogurt. If you eat shellfish, shrimp is a great protein source for the calories.
  • I've never heard of these. Where do you find them? Similar calories as regular wheat pasta?
  • I am still nursing, but only 1-2 times a day. My supply is really low, so it's mostly just comfort nursing at this point. I will increase to 1550 this week and see how it goes. I'd like to keep adding 100 calories every week as I ease into my goal range of 140-145.
  • I still have fat I could lose. I have a smaller frame, small wrists, etc. My goal range is 140-145, so I'm close. I am going to increase calories to 1550 and see what happens.
  • I'm right in the middle of 30DS, Level 2, Day 7. I've done it almost everyday. I also walk 30-40 min a day with my dog. I have gained a lot of fitness in this short amount of time. I went to the doctor recently and could honestly say that I work out 6 days a week! My BP was 110/60. I love the convenience of working out at…
  • Great progress! I'm on Level 2, Day 2 and I wish I had taken a before pic. Again, awesome job; you should be so proud!
  • I come from a dairy farming family. I've seen my grandparents, great-grandparents, and older relatives rock and roll into their late 80s to mid-90s like a bunch of badasses. All of them drank milk and buttermilk daily throughout their lives. I don't know about the journal articles either way, but my experience tells me…
  • I followed the plan for about a month a year or so ago. I felt great (and lost weight), but it is very strict. Eating out was very difficult. It did, however, open my eyes to the importance of placing nutrient dense, whole foods as the base of any healthy way of eating. A bit of a warning: my dad (upper 60s, very active…
  • I guess I'll switch to 40/30/30. Thanks!
  • If you have a Trader Joes by you, try the Sprouted Seven Grain bread. It's 60 calories a slice and offers some actually nutrition and doesn't feel like it's full of air. Low cal fluff bread isn't my thing, though. I like it dense!
  • About five years ago I started to have an overwhelming urge to spit it out. I like the taste of pork, so not sure what the problem was. It wouldn't matter if it was a pork chop or bacon or ham, if I tried to eat it, I'd spit it out. I refuse to waste food, so now I avoid it altogether. I'd never had such a strong and…
  • Whey, mixed berries, spinach or baby spring mix, sometimes PB2, sometimes cocoa powder, sometimes almond milk, sometimes kefir. I never really eat pineapple and when I eat kiwis, I always spoon them out straight into my mouth :) I can't figure it out.
  • Well apparently I'm an idiot and can't post a pic. :explode: Well since my pic won't work, I added it to my profile pics in case anyone has experienced this or has any ideas.
  • No. Your palate has very little fat, so not much will change for your upper dentures. Lowers never fit well in the first place lol
  • About three weeks ago I gave up my 3 to 4 glasses a night wine habit. I definitely feel better in the mornings and have more energy. I always saved the hard liquor for the weekends, usually just one night. So far I've given that up, too. I'll save it special occasions. And someone mentioned working out the next day to help…
  • 5'10" and right calf is 15" exactly with normal jeans on. Left may be a little smaller. I also have trouble finding boots, something about the height not being right and the calf part of the boot not hitting the right spot on my leg.
  • I'm 28 and pretty new to MFP. Really loving it so far, very eye opening. Feel free to friend me. I've been dedicated to logging everything and hope to continue until I reach my goal and learn what the h*ll I'm doing, diet-wise.
