Ok, so I had gained 11.4 pounds of water weight! That was some birthday week celebration! It's really hard to kick the sugar craving after you've already done it once before. Sigh.. :) Anyway, today, I am down 8.6 pounds after fighting the cravings all weekend and staying on plan (well except last night, was too hungry…

Very interesting! I think I will have a Free Meal on Friday night! (it's my birthday dinner!) The reason I think the concepts you presented from the book here are legitimate is because I 100% agree that a lifestyle change is at least 80% in your mind. Yes, you absolutely have to commit and do the work, but you have to…

Here's two recipes I've tweaked to make the fat bombs... Wanting to try a savory one next! Almond Joy Fat Bombs (my personal nickname for them) 1/3 c coconut oil (I prefer a virgin CO for this, to get the flavor) 1/4 c almond butter 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tbsp granulated Stevia 1 c unsweetened shredded coconut…

I gained this week, which makes me less than a happy camper. haha.. but oh well. moving on! Today's weight was 332.4. Percentage 4.84%.. Not going to track food (but stay LC!) or weigh for the next week and see if that helps!

Glad you found something that will work for you! I experimented with vegan last year and have been on and off vegetarian.. It really doesn't work long term for me. I think it would help if I had any kind of moral objection to eating meat/animal products. And it would have helped if I would have seen this website you posted!

my weight this week was 329.3, which means I've lost 20 pounds in the contest and 5.63%! Crazy!!! So grateful for the contest and the accountability! Thanks Blessed for starting the challenge and keeping up with it.. you're awesome!!

I'm doing between 20-30 g net carbs, and attempt to eat at least 1500 calories a day, but usually fall short... but my diary is open. :)

I try to eat my last meal of the day 3-5 hours before bed just because I'm doing intermittent fasting and my timing works out that way. :) I have only been doing that as long as I've been doing IF, so not sure if it's one or the other, or both..

This, for sure.. meanwhile they are eating small quantities of heavily processed junk and feeling sorry for themselves.. Keep up your good work!!

I take Multivitamins, B12, and Calcium/Magnesium/D3.. :)

I'm glad that this came up! I was wondering too! My blood ketone level this weekend was 2.8.. I guess that's good?

I do! I fast from (generally) 7:30 pm-12:30 pm, only drinking my version of bulletproof coffee in the mornings.. (2ish tbsp of coconut oil and heavy whipping cream plus stevia) I have had a lot of success with it, and I think the combo of low carb and intermittent fasting has been awesome! LOVE it! What I love most about…

I am at 334.3 (still... ugh! come on stall.. move it!! ;) ) 4.29% though, so I guess that's nothing to sneeze at! haha

Thanks for asking this question, and I'm glad AB responded too! I have excellent BP, but my husband just took his last night and it was 165/102.. He has no symptoms of high BP, and trust me, I watch for them. Good to know... good to know! Making changes (started last night) in his diet and exercise.

I lost 2.5 lbs this week, bringing me to 3.81%!

Did they give you the breakdown on the cholesterol levels? Like HDL/LDL/Triglycerides? just curious....
-
woohoo!!

Absolutely agree with the coconut oil.. I feel like I have the opposite problem now that I've been drinking the CO in my morning coffee and cooking with it when appropriate. Water is also excellent!

Hey MeMe! I am not in my 20's (anymore.. :( haha) but I have been diagnosed with PCOS and was at one time diagnosed with insulin resistance.. I am now 31, and have learned a lot about managing the symptoms of the PCOS and am no longer considered IR (insulin resistant) woohoo!! My first suggestion would be to get a proper…
