  • This always happens to me when I start exercising and you are losing inches, so that is good. It usually takes me about 6 weeks after starting a new exercise commitment before I see the scale move. Congrats on your inches lost!
  • Thanks everyone! I've actually been taking your suggestions and spending some time on the recipe boards now that I am in wave two and have some flexibility. This seems to be helping a lot, although I still think it will be a while before I try another cobb salad. I am truly burnt out on those.
  • Thanks Marll! I'll try adding some broth throughout the day and see if that helps out. I actually am feeling much better today but it was a rest day. :-)
  • I actually have a question about the sodium. Are you saying that I should be going over my government guideline for sodium every day and this will make me feel better?
  • Thank you guys for all of the suggestions! I am definitely going to give them a try, and I have to say that on today on day 5 I have much more energy . I also slept well last night for the first time since starting the diet so that could be part of it!
  • There seems to be a bit of confusion about the phrase low carb. There is a big difference between atkins induction low carb and eating lower carbs then what is recommended by the governments food pyramid. Most of the people arguing against low carb seem to be actually practicing low carb eating to some extent. . Low carb…
  • Hi! I bought these through the Firm website, which is firmdirect.com, but I think that Amazon is going to start offering them soon if they don't already. With shipping and handling they were 105$. This includes the videos, the sample of the vitamins (which I did take, but I don't know if I will continue once my sample is…
  • Great job! I just did my first 5k a couple weeks ago and I noticed that doing the actual race knocked a full minute per mile off of my time. Having the people around really motivated me to push harder. You might run much faster around people, if that wasn't the case already.
  • Hi Guys! I would like to join your group! I actually completed C25K about three weeks ago, but I was running on a treadmill. I have recently started running outside and it is a completely different story. I am having problems running more than 1.5 miles and my calves are sore!! Has anyone else been through this? I'm…
  • I think it does mine, but it might be more the lack of food willpower I have and the lack of energy after a couple drinks than the alcohol itself.
  • Hi. One thing that really helped me was following the couch to 5k program you can find on the web. It's basically just a free schedule that works you up slowly, so you are less likely to get sore. Also get your gait analyzed and buy running shoes that correct any problems you may have. I had a horrible time with shin…

  • Hi guys thanks for the replies. I found quite a few websites that talk a lot about it curbing your appetite, helping with acid reflux and also being good for a general liver cleanse. I might give it a shot, although it won't last long if I can't get get over the taste. ;-)
  • Sorry just wanted a bump!
