Hi everyone. I have been reading a lot about the health benefits of organic apple cider vinegar, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with adding this to their diet. The approach I was considering was making a "tea" in the morning with apple cider vinegar, organic raw honey and water. Let me know if you've had any experiences, positive or negative! Thanks!

I tried introducing a similar concoction a few weeks ago to counter reflux. I found it pretty hard to get down though it did seem to help the reflux. Given the unpleasant taste I don't think ACV will become a regular part of my diet but I would use it again rather than turning to prescription or over the counter antacids.

I only use it for cooking, I wouldn't think to drink it on it's own.

Yup. Cooking and it actually makes a pretty good salad dressing, if used sparingly and with some additional spices (and perhaps some EVOO to cut it).

    I agree - I wouldn't personally drink it on it's own .

Hi guys thanks for the replies. I found quite a few websites that talk a lot about it curbing your appetite, helping with acid reflux and also being good for a general liver cleanse. I might give it a shot, although it won't last long if I can't get get over the taste. ;-)
