I consider my self a lifter because I enjoy lifting; the adrenaline, the endorphins my brain releases in the middle of my workout, the energy I feel. Now that I think about it, It's almost orgasmic for me. hmmm.. maybe that's why some men try to persuade women into not lifting JK  maybe not hehehe

^^^^ This. I used to be like you. There's a chocolate bar container in the office that's never empty, there's pizza or lasagna or all kinds of greasy foods every Friday!!! My best advise DO LEARN TO CONTROL YOURSELF, TAKES TIME, IT"S NOT EASY BUT IT'S POSSIBLE

Wow, you sure are an inspiration for me right now, you are doing an amazing job!! I've been sitting on my *kitten* for the last, almost three weeks, making up excuses to not workout. From today on, I will find the way to do it!!

I do the same, I haven't spend over $20 on the equip. I got: a pair of 4, 8, and 12lbs dumbbells, a yoga mat, some dvd's on basics. I too recently started lifting at home, while two pretty entertained kids laugh at me......I'm getting pretty good results so far. Good luck!!

Go with the short, I recently cut my hair, it was about the same length as yours and my hubby didn't want me to do it either, but I get tired of the long hair and I don't like looking the same for long periods of time, but that's just me... and as someone said here, if he loves you, he'll love you in every hair style!!
