Me too, but the harder cheeses seem to cause less issues. :)

As in Air Force Space Command, but I did have my spacelift time. Those were the days... :)

These are my favorite: I work in space systems, so it's influenced by my career... and my appreciation of animals. Space bunny and an octopus attacking a rocket. I have a few others (like the parrots on the other side), but these are probably my favorite.

I've heard it too, but I'm not sure on the source or the reliability of said source. But if you compare us with apes, they are opportunists and will certainly eat meat if given the opportunity. I think we may overeat meat, but I would never conclude that we are straight-up herbivores. We are highly adaptive creatures,…

Unfortunately, it was cow's blood... need more non-red meat blood.

I feel like omnivore and plant-based diets can both be healthy or not healthy. Despite their definitions, they still aren't specific enough to claim either. I do believe that we are meant to be omnivores (check out our teeth and related species), but I've still chosen to be vegetarian. Being able to make informed decisions…

This! If I didn't workout, I would absolutely blow at roller derby... and my team wouldn't be able to depend on me.

I get really bad jaw pain if I have to breathe in cold air. I love treadmills that have different incline levels, but I also love trail running outside. Both are better than sitting on my couch and it's difficult to have an excuse not to do any running. :)

lol I've already upvoted you there! You resemble Joshua Jackson a bit.

Very true, and many foods don't even have it on their labels. I just try to make sure to verify that I'm getting a good percentage of it.

I prefer iron and potassium.

In China, it's illegal to eat one on camera.

No, but I've heard the same from my massage therapist. I think it's more like hydrating helps in general, but they tend to be very... "alternative medicine-y."
-
I would echo maybe going for building muscle (weight training). We tend to lose muscle as we age and it's good for your bones.

Nor was there medication, vaccines, and refrigeration. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

<- roller derby There's people of all shapes and sizes. Each physical characteristic has an advantage.

Perfect, but seems to be ignored.

Britney circa 2000/2001. The tan would be handy as well. lol

Same. Their followers also have a habit of crusading and reporting any info that conflicts with them. Of course, Food Babe actually sells things that contain the same stuff she advocates against.

No interest in Naptown Roller Girls or Circle City Derby Girls? Definitely a great workout without focusing on the actual workout. (I'm originally from Indiana so I follow the derby world there. :) )

@meritage4 "Separated" from the Army, not from her. Normal verbiage for that sort of thing. Eh, don't mention it. I've received what I've put in. Does one count out the other? You'll need to do some strength training. Now, I'm generalizing and hopefully an actual soldier can chime in, but we had high rep workouts. It's…

I just log for when I get up (that's the day that I start my log) and even when I work into the next morning beyond midnight, I just keep logging as it's the same day. Sorry, if that is too wordy. My sleep seemed to have a large impact on progress, but that's true for "day walkers" as well. It was just more difficult to…

Congratulations on the life jump. I went from military spouse to military member too. I'm not army, so forgive my ignorance, but do they use BMI, body fat, or just a weight range? (looking for the goal and how short the time frame is) Mirena is no joke. I couldn't go through with it myself. lol

I currently use the Fitbit Surge (switched from BM). Fitbit does have a new one coming out (the Blaze) for cheaper if you're into the smartwatch thing. The Change HR is a good choice as well, my husband uses that one. I do miss my BM. Jawbone's up3 isn't that great with actual use and it didn't have a display, but I think…

QFT Definitely don't purchase anything new for one, if you're set on doing one.

Rosemary. :3

That's just fiber. You need fiber. I don't even eat meat (vegetarian), but just talking about meat as a broad term is short-sighted. There's a lot of different foods under that category... all with various benefits or drawbacks. I mean, it's not natural to only take in juices. Luckily, we are highly adaptable animals, so…

Same all over (except I'm lacto ovo veg). If they don't bring it up, I don't bring it up. :)
