Thank you for posting this. I'm disgusted because I've gained back my weight and I need to see people who have committed to losing for good. I'll be 48 in May, so thanks again for the inspiration. You look amazing!!

Amazing, thanks for posting! I like your perseverance, I need that right now!

It sounds like she's insecure because you are starting to look really good, that may be a threat to her losing you. Maybe you need to have that discussion with her, that she is your one and only, just because you look good doesn't mean you're dumping her. However, if she is the type that is super insecure and won't let it…

Also, I've been eating lots of berries - they are sweet, tart and really kill my craving for sweets. Just another hint.

It's amazing how fast weight can pile on because of depression. I too am in the same boat. I regained about 25 lbs in the past 8 months because of poor eating, a lot stemming from depression. It's easy to say motivation is short lived and not a factor, but when you have depression, you are chronically unmotivated to do…

Hi I had VSG in August 2011 and have lost 75 lbs to date. The only suggestion I have is to watch what you eat because you can stall. I stalled for a year before I started watching my calories again. I'm thrilled with the sleeve and would do it all over again. It changed my life.

Set different goals that you can meet. Focus on how your body is changing because of exercise. Try a new type of exercise and mix it up. I really enjoy taking group exercise classes, which are fun and don't feel like exercise.

If you don't like being called fat, do something about it. Yes, I was FAT. I lost the weight and I'm not called that anymore. Yes, it hurts to be called fat, but you have a choice to be so. Reality bites. Being fat as a child is a different story though, kids are cruel.

I think you need to dig down deep inside and figure out why you don't really want to be thin. That is a reality I had to get myself to. I was sabotaging myself for years and yo-yo dieted for 16 years. Truth was, I was afraid to be thin. I was afraid of the attention it would bring. I did not love myself enough to know that…

Definitely go to Alanon. If you're young, go to Alateen. You will make tons of friends and get lots of support. I'm a recovering alcoholic with 9 years sobriety and my closest and best friends came from AA. They understand me because they've been there too. I promise, you will love the program. It seriously changes your…

I dreaded 40 once I turned 38, but it's really no big deal. Now I'm 45 and I feel better and sexier than I ever did in my 20s or 30s! One way to make your 40s fab is to lose the weight! I'm getting more attention cuz I look good! That's definitely a confidence booster. Work it girl!

Thanks, I guess two years really isn't that long. I lived being fat for 16 years after all.

Gurl!!! You look amazing!!! I love all the pics! Keep on posting. :-)

Wow wow wow! You look so awesome!! Thanks for sharing!!
-
Wow! I've lost about the same over two years - doesn't it feel amazing? You look fantastic, congratulations!!

pack a cooler of healthy snacks, like yogurt, salad, etc. If you do stop at fast food, get a grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo or a salad with reduced fat dressing. I went on vacation last week and ate out all the time and still lost 1 lb! You can do it!

I'm 5'9" and I'm shooting for 160-165. I've been 145 at my lowest - look WAY to skinny and unhealthy. The girl that posted 117 as her goal weight at 5'8" to me seems like a very underweight goal and not healthy. Look at the BMI chart. If you shoot for right in the middle, you will look great. I weigh 181 right now and…

I lost 2.8 my first week and I have about 60 to lose. I'm not upset at all. That's a great loss!

I'm 1.5 years out of surgery and have lost a total of 45 lbs to date. I will admit that most of this was my own doing through snacking. Avoid snacking at all costs! Although I did not gain weight, I plateaued for about 9 months because of it, not cool. I am now back on plan and actually decided to do medifast temporarily…

I'm just adding too, for those of you who think this is the "easy" way out, it's NOT. You have to be extra diligent with your food consumption and exercise. In addition, for those of you who don't "understand why if you'd already lost 10% of your body weight, you wouldn't finish on your own without surgery" it's easier…

I had the sleeve in 2011. It is not a magic bullet. You MUST watch your calories and not snack. Snacking had kept my weight loss at a stall for a year, although I did not gain weight. I will say that it has helped my hunger tremendously, I am satisfied with smaller meals, so I don't need to eat a lot. I also don't really…

$61.00 a session sounds about normal. My gym charges $60.00 a session for 1 hour. I'm sure you could find someone for less, but I think you get what you pay for.

Hi, today is day 3 for me too! I'm totally loving it, my cravings are completely gone. I have no urge to snack at all. My hunger is very minimal, if I get any hunger pains at all. I can't wait to see what the scale reads next week!
-
Great job! Just focus on 50 lbs at a time, that way it's not so overwhelming! You are doing great! Keep it up!
-
Wow, I like how your friend isn't even on Medifast, but she's an "expert." You are doing fine. Stick to asking this message board rather than her from now on. :-)

You are smoking! Awesome!!

Drugs and cigs, lol! You've done very well young man! Congrats!
