I believe 2 oz of dry, uncooked pasta is equal to about 1 cup cooked pasta. I know that isn't a specific weight, but it's usually what I go by when logging pasta. I weigh most of my food, but this is one of those things that unless I am cooking a single serving for myself and am able to weigh it before hand, it just…

Completely agree about coming on the forums to learn. I do the same every day, problem with that is there is tons of false info that you have to weed through, and it's not always noticeably wrong. As for the furniture polish, I don't like to drink my cals

I wish! Lol

Done and done!

Ahahaha, love it! As for the waffle taco, I'd try it...

I understand what you're saying, but there is all sorts of chemicals, etc. in majority of what we eat, so it seems a little hypocritical to harp on fast food. People have attached this label to fast food like it's the worst thing ever, when in all reality, it's just food!
-
Why do people care so much about others eating fast food?! If someone wants to eat fast food, then go for it! No one if forcing you to eat it, so stop trying to force others to stop eating it!

I'm at the 8 month mark with my son and other than solids, we are EBF. He has never slept through the night, ever. We have had one, maybe two nights since he has been born that he only got up once. I get excited if he only gets up twice, but three to four times is the norm. With my daughter, we started formula at about 8…

Very impressive!!! Especially with a baby in between!!!

I am breastfeeding my son, he is on solids, no formula, and I still haven't gotten my period. He is 8 months old. With my daughter, we stopped exclusively breastfeeding at 8 weeks, I pumped for another couple weeks, and my period returned about a month or so after.

You should be so proud!!! Way to go :flowerforyou:

I was just about to nominate Yo!!! She is absolutely amazing. Not sure what her lifts are at, but I can imagine they are up there.
-
Gorgeous!!! Very well done

Guessed myself 2.5% larger. Almost chose spot on, but thought I wasn't quite that small just yet. Pleasant surprise :) Also, according to my measurements, I have an hourglass shape! Sounds good to me!!!

I've lost all my weight eating between 2000-2300 calories. At the beginning, I did cardio for about 30 minutes to 1 hour 6 days/week. For the last 11 weeks, I have been lifting heavy 5-6 days per week, and doing 30 minutes or less of cardio 3-4 times per week.
-
It won't be that bad forever, promise :) It is bad for the first week or two, and then it goes away for the most part. I've been lifting heavy for about 11 weeks now, and I am rarely sore, and never get "feel like I can't move" sore. Also, don't worry once feeling sore does go away, it isn't a good indicator of whether or…

My PRIMARY goal is to lose weight. I have been lifting heavy for 10 1/2 weeks, have continued to lose weight, and make significant strength gains. My body composition is better than it has ever been, and I am 20 lbs. heavier than my all time lowest weight. My calorie intake never changed when I started lifting, and my…

Tagging for recipe list!!! Very nice, and tons of options!!! Thank you :flowerforyou:

Actually, I am a 27 (28 in a couple of weeks) year old woman, with 2 kids, and the only thing I worry about besides my calorie goal, is my protein goal. Everything else is whatever. I mostly eat what I want in moderation, consume on average 2100-2300 calories/day, and I don't care if it is an organic apple, or some…

Edited since I can't seem to get pics up from sites... I would love to look like Camille Leblanc-Bazinet when I am done, maybe a little softer in the midsection. *fingers crossed*

Muffin tops are the result of people trying to wear bottoms that are too small. Therefore, anyone who doesn't want a muffin top, just has to buy the correct size for their body, and, voila! Problem solved :drinker:

Well done!!! You look great :flowerforyou:

^^^This^^^ It's working for me!!! But as said, you will really feel it afterward, but it will get better.

That's not true. It doesn't burn the amount of calories that cardio does DURING the workout session, but, unlike cardio, you continue to burn calories after you are done lifting. Your body burns calories at an accelerated rate for up to 38 hours after a heavy lifting session. Whereas with cardio, once you are done working…

Wow, I somehow missed this part of the original post. No, neither of those make you bulk...seriously...

As others have said, going over your protein given by MFP is a good thing, they set it really low. A good rule of thumb is to aim for 1g protein per 1 lb. lean body mass. As for the sugar goal, I never even bother looking at it since they give you a super low number for that too, end up hitting and surpassing that goal…

I think it is a great mindset! One day of a bit of emotional eating =/= an unhealthy relationship with food. If it were like that every day, then yes, that may be true, but that's not the case here. It is very healthy to accept going over your allotment for the day and not let it get the best of you. We're all human, it…

Great results!!!

The Wendy's pretzel bacon cheeseburger is sooooo good!!! It was seriously like a party in my mouth. I had one on Sunday and Monday :drinker:

NO! Oh, and in case you didn't hear me the first time...NOOOO!
