My dad and husband take comfort in knowing my dog is running with me. She is a 60 pound pitt/chow/golden retriver mix. Maybe you need a big dog.

I LOVE JILLIAN"S KETTLE BELL WORKOUT!!!!! I use a 5 pound hand weight and it works great. I really felt my abs work instantly the first time I tried this DVD. You use your core strength and momentum to move the weight NOT your arms.

how tall are you? if this is a current picture then you look great and if you lost 10 more pounds you'd be too thin. try to not beat yourself up over body image. all women usually feel less than they really are especially during teenage years.

I do a workout video in the morning while my 9 month old is still asleep. my older kids either play outside or workout with me. In the evening after all kids are in bed is also a great time to get some exercise time in without kids.

one will be fine and i saw one at walmart that comes with weighted discs to add to the kettle bell instead of buying multiple kettlebells

I get my running shoes from payless, bealls outlet ,ross, places like that. they are namebrand which is more comfertable than walmart shoes but the ones I buy are at the most $50.00

since you are already slim and don't really want to loose weight why not make your goal to walk or run a 5k by next month instead of measuring for inches. I am 5'4' and weigh 140. I try to push myself to workout after the kids are in bed even when I feel exhausted. I don't always want to and want to quit a first but after the workout is complete I am so glad I did it. I have done 5 5K's and am just know considering jogging some of it. These races are no joke! I can walk 3.1 miles in about 45 - 50 minutes. Every race is different. Time of year, and race route make all the difference. Just remember to stretch and have fun.

just give support when he tries, praise when he does good, and encouragement when he fails. you can't force him into a lifestyle change. he has to want to and he won't want to if you pressure him.

If I eat meals during the day and snack when I'm hungry, and at the end of the day I am under my calorie goal, I don't worry about it. Don't let yourself go hungry but I wouldn't try to fill up calories for no reason either.

The only thing you can do is RELAX! I am 5'4" and 3 weeks ago was 160 pounds. I am doing my fourth 5k this Saturday. It is a lot easier than you think. really no need to train as long as you are walking. stay positive and have fun or you won't stick to your goal.

Just make the cookies the way you want too!! You won't really be satisfied unless you get the cookies you want. It isn't like you eat them everyday. To have a cookie or two once in a while won't make or break your progress.
