I'm 11st11lbs and are at a 1200kcal deficit too, but aiming for 1.5lb a week loss.. If I'm hungry I will eat around 50% of exercise cal back if I'm not I save them for an extra loss.. if you find it hard to stick to would recommend upping your goals, if your determined to stick to the 1200 look at changing some of the…

I lose more on low carb but that's due to insulin resistance caused by medical conditions, if I could I'd be enjoying carbs much more, but its all about what suits you best.

I like to try hit my protein without supplements, but I am a huge meat lover so this does help, I think it depends on the individual but shakes are a good way to start increasing protein and get used to it, as long as your getting it don't worry too much.

if your not hungry i wouldn't bother, If i'm hungry, I eat some of mine back but they're majorly overestimated so I tend to eat 50% back.

Thanks Lynds, I'm the friend, thank you for the information, I didn't think it would be that low I've been roughly 30 C/ 35fat/35p but this week dropped it to 25 C 35 F 40 P and kcal goal set for 1500

23 UK. Similar goal in time to be maid of honour for my sister next August, I'm 2 years into changing my life, I've had my ups and downs stops and starts, but it is the best thing I have ever done, happy to help, support, I am on here everyday :)

I'm 23 and I count calories but i'd never feel guilty for going over. I think once you've counted calories for maintanence for a few months i wouldnt say it to be needed as you'll have a pretty good idea of what you need to be doing and just stick within the calories. Just Relax a little
